Mohawk Motel

I have stayed here several times and the service has always been excellent. The staff know us by name and are always happy to see us. I have stayed in two different rooms, both smoking and non smoking. Both rooms had their own pros and cons. The non smoking room was smaller and the bed wasn't the best, but the bathroom was very nice and newly updated. The tv worked great and the wifi was good. The smoking room was actually overall much nicer. It was a 2 bed room with lots of space. Both beds were very comfortable and we did have issues with the tv service in that room, but once fixed it was good to go. The bathroom was a little dated, but still nice and the wifi for that room was spotty. Overall its a nice place for the price point. I do plan to stay there again in the future.

Horrible experienceDO NOT LEAVE ANY VALUABLES IN YOUR ROOM, STAFF ARE THEIVES. when I confronted the owner about my missing valuables, they kicked me out, kept my deposit ($325)+ I had just paid for the week($450)and all my belongings that were still in the room..I stayed for over a month and ended up purchasing a safe because I had a decent amount of cash on me (I was travelling) when I was kicked out I had $3000 in my safe.

Very polite and helpful guy at the front desk. The bed was comfortable, Very quiet place both nights ( Friday / Saturday) Also was a bonus having the kitchenette. Just thought it could be cleaner.

My personal experience here has been very good. The staff and owner, Max, has always been more than friendly and accommodating to my needs. Room are kept up well. No sign of insects / pests in my experience here, unlike at a competitor located across the street.

Not a bad place to stay if you want a clean, quiet and private low-cost motel. It's definitely better than the other offerings in the area and the staff are great! They take their jobs seriously and don't put up with any bs. Also, no visitors are allowed so you can get some rest!

Dirty!! But, the room had a kitchen! Double sink, microwave, beer fridge. Livable place if it was clean! That said, I've seen ads on Kijiji asking for WAY more for student housing...one room and shared kitchen & shower?! I'd just clean it and take it over student housing!! Seriously? Not bad compared to other places!!

This place was the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed in, puke,blood,pee on the box spring covers... cigarette burns all over the blankets, spit on the ceiling. Bugs in the droors, when I told the owner about the room he said “you realize this is a motel right?” We left..

My husband and I stayed at this motel for 2 nights. When searching for a motel the pictures looked alright but we were so disappointed when we arrived. It's very run down and outdated. The owners should really update and renovate the rooms. I tried to plug in the hair drier in the bathroom but it was not working. The other electrical outlets were in the bedroom where the cord wouldn't reach so I had to ask for an extension cord. Also the mirror in the bathroom was too small and way up too high for me to reach. Bulbs were missing making it dark in the bathroom. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room but it was smelling awful like alcohol & drugs. We would certainly not recommend this place no matter how cheap it is.

Terrible, the people staying there are crazy. Drove past a guy and he had papers hung around his room like in the show pretty little liars, the white guy in the room was just staring through the curtains watching you , room #3

Once arrived the room was not clean at all. This was frustrating as I have allergies to dust. If I could show you photos you would understand how had it was. After my first night I got a rash and got sick. After cleaning the room from top to bottom appropriately there was old rotten food found around room such as next to the couch, dust behind the TV, toothpaste on the cubby door in the bathroom, 0 stars for cleanliness. The staff seemed great until things started to go missing.... they stole my shoes and other items from me and my partner. I would not recommend this motel to anyone it is filthy and they hire theifs. They do have fair price from 350$/450$. I did not enjoy the environment as everytime I stepped outside there would be a group huddled up in a corner staring you down and watching you... kinda creepy honestly. I have had guys hit on me and try to enter my room aswell. It is not a safe environment there is no respect for privacy as staff just knocked and then walked in..... I would never recommend this place to anyone and I am serious, until the owner catches the employees who steal from guests and have them fired and for the owner to provide to his staff cleaning classes as they missed basic cleaning..... (like behind the tv and beeding as every sheet i got had someone else blood on it or burnt holes or brown stains or yellow stains) the environment should be renovated aswell. But till then do not go here.
