From our first encounter – their listening to the specifics of what we wanted, reworking the design a number of times, making the estimate, to final completion, everything went without a hitch, at the price they quoted and in a more than timely fashion. The crew of Adam & Wayne restored my faith that there still are craftsmen who believe their work reflects the best of their craft and pride in their work. The owner Pete came over and met me at my place, well prepared. He is very easy to talk to and he is knowledgeable about the construction process and decking products. He even gave me a short PPT presentation about his company, very organized. Within a few hours after our meeting, a very professional quote with price breakdown and a few different design options in 2D were sent to my email.Overall, very presentable and professional process.

We had a wonderful experience with Peter and Hickory Dickory Decks. He helped us thru the process of obtaining our permits and had drawings prepared with the quote while other decking companies gave us only the quote and nothing more. His workers where on time, efficient and left our property clean and free of debris. Thank you so much we have had so many memorable times on our deck already.

Last year Pete and Trish built our dream deck for us. It was a major expansion of our outdoor living space with a deck and covered patio that spanned the whole back of our house and out 16 feet. As the project proceeded we add a concrete lower patio and screened in the patio.The deck and patio is all and more than we had envisioned and was completed on time.The one thing I appreciated most about working with Pete, Trish and their crews is that they really made sure to make us, the customer happy. There were like most renovations, a few changes and a few unexpected surprises but they went out of their way to make us happy and give us our dream deck.

*update* He did follow up after this was posted and came to my house for a quote.Used Homestars to contact this company for a quote for my front porch. Seemed really good on the phone but once I provided pictures and measurements to make it easier for a quote they never got back to me even after I followed up. Just bad customer service so didn't leave me with a great impression for this company.

I highly recommend Peter and Hickory Dickory Decks to anyone who is looking for deck work. Peter went above and beyond to help us to repair our walkout deck. We noticed some issues with our deck a few months after moving into our home. We contacted Peter and he was more than willing to take on a challenging repair. He was very flexible to troubleshoot various scenarios, while keeping our goals and budget in mind. He was also very responsive and kept us updated throughout the process. After the repair was complete, Peter even came back himself on a very rainy day to make a minor adjustment free of cost. The deck turned out excellent and we have been enjoying it very much.

Everything about my deck experience with Pete and his crew was top notch. The worksite was kept clean and tidy and I love the clean lines of the design of my new deck.
