I wanted to like this place and support a local business but we left disappointed.We ordered an americano, a London fog and a blueberry muffin. The muffin was good.The staff seemed disorganized and confused, the person making drinks didn't seem to know how to use the espresso machine. I get it, people take time to learn, but if I'm paying over 5 dollars for a tea I hope for it to be good. We took our drinks to go, and didn't notice they weren't good untill we already left, or else I would have asked to have them remade.The americano was made with milk, kind of defeating the purpose of ordering it.And the London fog, I dont think the milk was steamed. It seemed like regular cold milk was added to hot water, as I was left with a luke warm cup of watered down milk. It was nowhere hot enough to steep the teabag so I'm not sure how the tea tasted. She also added to entire teabag to the cup, including the tag, which I didnt notice untill it was too late and the paper part dissolved in the water and the plastic part was floating in it. The tea bags you use are made specifically so that you can peel and stick the tag to the outside if the cup so it doesn't fall in. I get the feeling that the person making drinks just didn't know what they were doing. I would recommend adding a tiny bit of vanilla extract or sugar to the London fog as well as it was pretty bland, again the tea didn't steep so this probably effected it.

I purchased the penne for over $13.00 for a single portion. Pasta costs nothing at the grocery store. This dish was sparse in sauce and springled with a small amount of cheese. It was dry and overly sweet, so much so that I could not eat it. It was my first and last purchase there. I am disappointed and sad as I like to encourage local business, but not at the price of feeling gouged. Never again!

The place is clean and nicely decorated with a clean washroom. The service was good and friendly, considering that I was there on Sunday morning, the place was not very busy. I had a scone and a latte. The scone looked very good and was fresh. However, the texture was more of a cake like and not a traditional scone one can expect. When I asked for butter to go with it I have been told that they don't have any. Hence a 4 star, I would think if the scones are on the menu, the butter is a must. The latte was okay. The prices are adequate in today's market and equal to the Starbucks. The bottom line is I would recommend, but there is always a room for improvement.
