Spectacular customer service--everyone was super friendly and helped us find the perfect lamp shade no problem. We brought our lamp with us, definitely the right idea as it made everything so much easier (everything took less than 30 minutes, but I'm sure it would have been longer if we were forced to only visualize the shade on the lamp). It was well worth the trip through traffic! Bonus: everything is Canadian made.

This is the place to bring not just the old shabby lampshade but the entire lamp. We have an old standard lamp that was, frankly, unsafe. The whole light fitting wobbled. We got the shade recovered and lampholder replaced. It will now last another 50 years! Very attentive, personal service and completed on time and as desired.

Brought in 2 lampshades to be recovered and while the turn-around was super fast, I wasn't in love with the finished product. I brought my lamps into the store and the ladies helped me pick out an alternative that was awesome—I was stunned when they didn't charge me a cent more. Excellent local business! I was looking for new lighting for my new home and didn't want any of the cheap options that most of the home stores here in Victoria offer. Victoria Lampshade Shop had EVERYTHING I was looking for and more! I purchased beautiful quality pieces and left very happy. Extremely helpful, and knowledgeable staff that helped me with all my questions and concerns. Will definitely be recommending this store to all my friends!!

A unique place in Vancouver. We have had lamp shades manufactured by them for years and we've also purchased a few off the shelf. Gail manages tge place and is so very helpful and knowledgeable. They are closing this location but will still be in Victoria. Highly recommend them for your lighting needs.

Great customer service and value. I purchased a lamp that I like @ Ikea but the lampshade was bright white and did not go with my decor. I enjoyed the process of selecting fabric to have my lampshades covered. I felt like I got great value and my new lampshades are unique and match my room perfectly.

The service and people here are terrific. They spent a lot of time showing different sizes and shapes of lamp shades and made knowledgeable suggestions and recommendations. They have a great selection of ready made choises. We eventually chose to have one made to suit our desired size, material, and colour (only two weeks). As already stated the service was excellent and priced very reasonable especially for having a shade made to order.

The best selection of lampshades in the Lower Mainland. They are a little pricey but very well made. The staff here are experts when it comes to lighting aesthetics. They can give you advice to help you get the look you are going for. It's amazing the difference a lampshade makes both design wise and the brightness/atmosphere you want the light fixture to provide. They are the only shop in Vancouver that has a wide selection of decorative finials. They're like little hat in top of the lamp that make it look finished and fancy. You can also get a variety of lampshades the attach to the light bulb of your lamp with a clip, which are often hard to find.
