ST-VIATEUR BAGEL - MILE END

I used to eat these all the time 15 years ago. Had them for the first time since and they're still the best bagels I've ever had. They claim to be the best in the world for a reason.Try different types, but gotta have the all dressed. I recommend buying some hummus too, it works perfectly.They're open all day, if you get there at 4 AM you'll find some fresh bagels to eat, and they always hit the spot.

Amazing place, open 24h and serving the best bagels in the world. They also offer a wide variety of cream cheese of multiple brands, with smoked salmon and gravlax. You can also watch the bagel preparation and the baking steps, very impressive.The reputation is not fake, I am telling you. Take the sesame bagels, freshly baked and all warm, they are everything. Under $1 each.The place is rather small though, easily crowded. You can't sit inside to eat.

This place is a great Montreal treat. Fresh wood fired oven bagels made all day. Be sure to get whatever just came out of the oven so you can eat it while its still warm. A place not to be missed.

Best bagels in town! A bit crowded but it lives up to its name. A large variety of bagels to choose from. I recommend the everything bagel with Salmon , it's fresh and super tasty !

They don’t accept credit/debit card, but worst case they have an ATM inside.If you can try them warm recently done, it’s gonna be magical.

Honestly, the best bagels I’ve ever had - bar none… and I’ve had A LOT of bagels… baked with a proprietary process of dipping each bagel in hot honey-water prior to baking in a wood-fired oven, the end result is a rich, soft, nutty, slightly sweet almost creamy Montréal-style bagel that is absolutely authentic and second to none. Fast, friendly informative service make for a quick, efficient and worthwhile visit - every time. Given the awesomeness be prepared for a lineup, any time (our last time was a weekday, mid-morning - I’d imagine weekend mornings might be a lot more intense) though it moved exceptionally quickly. We ordered 5 dozen bagels (seemingly a huge amount, relatively speaking (for friends and family at home), but our order was filled incredibly quickly. Of note, this location (and the bagels produced) were featured with the host’s rave reviews on “Somebody Feed Phil”, a hilarious and bang-on travel/food show on Netflix - and for good reason. Coupled with the availability of freshly prepared fare featuring cream cheese and smoked salmon, etc, as well as merchandise and other sundry items, you really can’t go wrong. There may be other locations, but this is the OG… an absolute must-visit…!!
