Went here to grab a lunch sandwich, paid through self check out and an employee informed us we could take them to the deli and have them toasted. They were fantastic and the 3 staff members were very friendly.8:30 am March 31st.

Colton.S the most superb employee ever, he helped us find our meat he also helped us find our fries, and found us our best dinner too. He is an astounding example of what an exemplary employee should be. Made us all feel like old friends. I can't say I've had better service anywhere else than with this employee. A Gentleman and a schollar.10 out of 10 go to this grocery storeHe should get a raise.

Some days are better than others. Coke and pepsi products are constantly out of stock. If you go too late, then there is very little on the shelf for sale items. Produce is fairly well stocked, though sometimes the produce quality they get isn't the best.

The new main entrance is poorly set up. If you're entering the building, you walk directly in to the path of customers who are trying to exit the building; It's absurd. Whoever decided that that is appropriate and acceptable should be fired. They lock the second entrance at night, further exacerbating the problem. Who wants to park on the east side of the lot just to find out that that entrance is locked? It's a direct cause of friction. Anyone who understands basic marketing, understands that the cost of friction is sales at the till. Ladysmith Save On just doesn't get it. They need new management.

For a small location like Ladysmith having a place like Save on Foods is great. The selection is wonderful and their weekly sales are great and affordable in today's market where food inflation has skyrocketed. The employees 90 percent of the time are friendly and go out of their way to help you find an item or even take your groceries to the car for you. We recently got a Country Grocer in town but they don't even come a close second to shopping at Save on Foods. If you live here and have never been or are just passing through I recommend that you give this store a shot and I promise you won't be disappointed.

It is truly the worst grocery store chain on Vancouver Island. This particular location is a fine example of why.High prices. No sales" items unless you obtain their tracking card and open an account. They should have stuck with Overwaitea. That name would not have been as blatant a lie.Items out of stock when the store opens in the morning
