2 star hôtel ? Feels more like a 4 star for me ! The Rooms are newly renovated, they are quite big and the amenities are amazing ! The staff is very friendly and the room is extremely clean. The bed sheets smell like snuggies and even the toilet smells good. For this price, it's an absolute steal !

We were in town for a wedding and this motel seemed to be in a good location and the owner was very friendly on the telephone when I made the reservation. We were very pleased when we checked in. The room was large and VERY clean. We booked Room 9 and it even came with a full size fridge! Our stay was still quite comfortable, the beds were OK, the pillows were nice and we had adequate blankets. We were in town when Hurricane Arthur hit, and eventually lost power. Upon checkout the owner gave us a Tim Horton's gift card as compensation for the lack of power. I thought that was very thoughtful. The owners were very accommodating and extremely friendly. I highly recommend Rothesay Motel as an affordable place to stay.

Hidden gem! We stayed unexpectedly after the hotel we booked online overbooked so when we arrived (family of 3)we had no room. They called the Rothesay Motel and saved the last room for us. Upon arriving we were worried that it was going to be run down as the grounds are not greatly landscaped. However after seeing the room we were amazed! The rooms are very updated and immaculately clean. Would recommend this place and stay there again. The room and owners are great. If the outside landscaping looked as great as the inside this place would be a 5 star all around. Have nothing bad to say about this motel and learned yet again as my daughter stated never judge a book by its cover!!

I took a chance on this place and it paid off. I saw how cheap the rooms were and assumed the worst. They had really good ratings though. It was close to the airport and I had a cute little cabin. It had a couple of chairs and a table outside. It was clean and the place was comfortable. The owners were really nice and helpful. Would stay here again and would refer this place to family and friends. Best little hidden gem by saint John!

Rothesay Motel
We recently stayed at the Rothesay Motel while in town for a wedding, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The small cabin was quaint with its 100 year old charm, exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable. Kevin provided top notch hospitality and was pleasant to deal with throughout our stay. We hope to be back again some day!
