Lovely grounds and horses are allowed on the beach and in the water. It's such a beautiful sight. Only downside is very limited parking on the lower level by the beach.

Large beach line that has some very soft sand & very clean shorelines. Not overpopulated & easy to distance yourself from others. Small parking area close to a garbage bin it seems to be a solid hotspot for kite surfers; it was mesmerizing watching them do their thing as we sat on the beach enjoying the sun. We rented an AIRBNB that had a river run past it & we kayaked from the property to the lake without issue. I would like to come back & visit with my family.

Absolutely love this place. I go here many times a year winter, spring, summer, fall. Very nice sandy beach tucked away makes it perfect for late night fires. The river meets the lake and has excellent fishing even in murky waters lots of big pike, bass and catfish. Nice place to kayak, picnic and explore with the kids. Definitely one of my favorite spots.
