While the shows performed are outstanding and I would give the show 5 stars. Behind the scenes is a different story, the hiring practices for locals to gain employment is outstandingly disgusting. Hiring for locals would get a zero star if possible. One of the local managers partly in charge of hiring has turned it into a family business, hiring her 2 sons wife's, her teen aged grandkids, and her teen grandkids gf's/bf's. If she lives long enough, I imagine her great grandkids will be employed there too. Shows are great but staff hiring is a gross display of practice of hiring family and people they are close friends with. 100% not fair hiring practices. I wouldn't give that company a cent of my money due to said treatment of locals who aren't a member of the family".Any employment of locals for seasonal positions SHOULD be done by outsiders. Performed by people who don't know persons individually. The staffing would see a complete different line of individuals

We went to see the SS Ethie. Had a great time. Great acting and reasonable food. Took our kids (10 and 8). They were captivated. A really great family evening of you get a chance

Went to the S. S. Ethie Dinner Theatre. Cod dinner was excellent and the play was even better! Would definitely recommend this experience if you like live theatre.

We saw the Wreck of the Ethie. Great acting, clever script, and dinner too! My teens loved it. I wish all history could be presented like this. So engaging! You should go!

We attended the dinner theater, SS Ethie. The show was well acted and entertaining. The food was great! We also attended Ed and Ed’s New B&B, Birds, and Jewel. While we very much enjoyed all three, a huge shout out must be given to the acting in Jewel. A one woman show and the acting was spectacular!

This review was a challenge. I was disappointed about two aspects. The Bill of Sale" of the Neddy Norris Night show we attended was "Traditional Newfoundland Music and Stories". There were four performers and they were excellent however 2 of the four were not from Newfoundland. And there were just 2 stories. So yes I am rating this lower because of my expectations. This was one hour and a half

Go and see Ed & Ed, so funny. A cast of three and all are fabulous in their roles, especially young Ed. This was a great surprise package for us while touring Newfoundland. Highly recommend.

Watched Jewell yesterday. A one person show about loss following sinking of Ocean Ranger. Beautiful, tragic play, well acted. Support the arts!
