King Street Towers - Tower 1

Quite well maintained and affordable housing with relaxing and comfortable environment! The thing I like about King Street Towers was their roommate matching services. I don't know anyone in the city, so it was nice to have this arranged for me. And it's worked out well. All the units are well-equipped or at least better equipped than what I could provide. I think Waterloo students should definitely visit this place when looking for housing.

If you want to be waken up at 2am every single homecoming, st pattys, or party weekend to the sound of fire alarms in your bedroom and fire trucks outside for hours at a time, this is your place.If you want people barging into your apartment at any time of any time without notice, this apartment building is notorious for that. They literally came and inspected our apartment without any email or message stating so. They changed major things such as windows and mesh coverings in my bedroom without permission or notice, barging into my room. Not to mention this has happened countless times throughout my long-term lease here. If you like your privacy invaded, this is also your place.I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I wish I never signed a lease here.

Management postponed repairing our AC unit for two months during the summer. They didnt fix it until it was fall and did not notify us of any potential delays. We complained and they offered us reduced rent for the months without AC which was never given.Advertised amenities are always out of service and management never fixes them. For example, the weight room weights were stolen but never replaced by management. Sometimes the pool table balls are missing and have never been replaced, meaning tenants cant play. Phone messages are never answered back and concerns are never delt with considerably.The huge draw of living in the apartment vs a house closer to school are the amenities and the modern looking apartments. However you simpily end up paying more for less room, living further away and amenities which you can rarely use.

Great building for a great price! Management has been super responsive in dealing with the few issues that have popped up and rectifies them in a timely manner. Corey Langan from management has been amazingly helpful and takes all the time and patience necessary to answer any questions a tenant may have. He is very friendly and kind and helps to put any worries you may have at ease. I would highly recommend this place to any students looking for a place to live away from home for university.

Great building staff, very welcoming environment, living here is very pleasant.I use the amenities very frequently and everything that I could possibly need out of a home KST provides.

Great amenities, ensuite bathrooms are a huge plus, fast maintenance service and I do enjoy the sense of community created during holidays when KST organizes events for the residents.

Really friendly staff, they reply to my emails quickly. When I submit a maintenance request they fix the problem in 1 day or 2 days. My suite is super clean all the time and the building in general is always very clean.

King st towers is a great place to live for students from UW or Laurier. The amenities at the building are better than any building I’ve seen in the area. King st towers has a full sized gym, sauna/change room, study spaces, and a lounge room.
