Steven did an excellent job instructing my daughter mountain biking. After just one hour she is brimming with confidence and has become quite knowledgeable about the ins and outs of biking and maintenance. Highly recommend!

My son was booked for Jr Mountain biking class with Stephen on Saturday 25th March at Colliary Dam Park. For almost 1-1/2 hour I drove back n forth between its two parking lot but Stephen or anyone from thrills & skills was nowhere to be found. I even asked the visitors if they had seen any kids having lessons but answer was Nil. I foned first to Nanaimo Rec to confirm the date n venue n time which they did and then frantically kept calling and leaving messages on company’s fone number. When nothing worked, I drove to the company’s address which was a multi story residential block. I even drove around the nearby parks for any possible 11th hour change of locations but no use. Stephen called back to my husband and told him he will call me but never did. After roaming about 2-2-1/2 hours aimlessly with a bike on my rack, we returned home without any answers and a very disappointed child. So far no email or fone call of apology or explanation has been received. I thanked God for not leaving my kid for three hours under the supervision of such irresponsible and unprofessional person who hasn’t even got a backup to answer the calls let alone other things . My God was it shocking and unbelievable for me to think what else could have happened.

Stephen was such an amazing instructor to learn under. A colleague and I spent a full day riding with him and we had a blast (regardless off the wind and rain). Our Outreach Team was looking to expand from on-foot to bicycles and Stephen taught us the street safety and technical skills we needed to do so! He encouraged us to try obstacles that we were initially afraid of, and I left feeling much more confident on my bike. I will absolutely recommend Stephen to anyone I know looking for some bike training, whether they are a newbie like me, just need a refresher, or are looking for some more advanced skills - this guy has got you covered! I can't wait to get back on my bike and practice what I've learned. Look forward to advancing my skills further with Thrills and Skills Cycling in the future! Thanks Stephen!
