I have been seeing Tiffani for a few years now and I love what she’s done with my hair. She does both my colour and cut and I appreciate how she listens to what I want instead of just doing whatever she wants to do. She keeps detailed notes of the colours she uses on you so that you always walk out with the same colour as you did the last time. She knows how to cut curly hair so that is looks good and that was really important to me because I cannot tell you how many times I had a stylist who didn’t understand curls. Andrew is also fantastic he’s don’t my hair before as well and I have been very pleased and he’s cut both my kids and husband and they come out of the salon looking sharp. Their new salon has free underground parking (perfect for snowy days) and is easy to get to from the highway.

Hands down the best blow-dry I've received across the entire GTA! Haircut was pretty good as well and Tiffani is super skilled at everything she does. Will definitely be going back ❤

Tiff and Andrew have been doing my hair for about 10 years now and everytime I leave the salon I feel so beautiful! Tiff is amazing at doing colour and provides expert advice and always gives me exactly what I want especially if I provide a reference picture. Andrew is amazing at cutting and styling my hair and again always gives me exactly what I ask for. I am always so happy with the way my hair comes out. I have gone from platinum blonde to dark brunette over the years and they have both taken such good care of my hair. They are always both extremely polite, professional, kind and friendly. I can’t recommend this place enough they are both truly amazing hair stylists and people all together!!

I’ve been coming here for 7 years and can’t imagine ever going anywhere else. I’m consistently complimented on my hair and have referred them to multiple people. I coloured my hair from root to end for the first time and I’ve never been so happy. The service is very friendly and funny. Amanda coloured and cut my hair and she did an amazing job! It took me years to find a hair salon that I was comfortable with. In time, I guess I gave up and became indifferent and just went to any hair salon that offered the best deal.One day I decided I wanted step out of ‘my comfort zone’ and jazz up my look with either highlights, maybe a whole new different color (and I knew I needed a good haircut) but I couldn’t decide which place to go. Hearing this, a co-worker of mine recommended that I go see Tiffani (Root of Hair) who had just recently opened the salon with Andrew and emphatically said that “I wouldn’t be disappointed”. On her word I went to go check them out.I really loved my first-time experience there. Tiffani asked me questions and listened carefully to get a feel of what I wanted to achieve the look I had in mind. (Andrew too when he styles and cuts my hair). It’s such wonderful place that I’ve recommended family and friends who’ve become clients of Tiffani and Andrew’s for almost 10 years too.They’ve become quite busy at the salon (with good reason). I love the positive energy they both have and their staff are great too. Ever since growing my hair out, I've been visiting Andrew regularly since 2010 and he never disappoints. Making appointments is a must, but it's worthwhile as it's very convenient and saves everyone time. Nice ambiance and they play good music! Their prices are more than fair (especially for men's cuts!). Conversation is always good, and I'd recommend The Root of Hair Studio to anyone that has ever been disappointed by their hairstylist!
