Chateau North Motel

Could use some upgrades to enhance the customer experience. Nicely located right in town to all local businesses.

My brief stay was quite nice, the beds are comfortable and the sheets clean. There was a nice AC on in the room and I was comfortably cool. All in all, not bad

Comfortable beds and a nice owner.

First of all, prices on the website do not coincide with the actual price! Off by $50.00.Secondly, beds are terrible.Terrible smell in the room.Carpets terrible, you need to wear shoes all the time.No coffee maker. There is a toaster, but not an essential coffee maker. Also, at $154.00 a night, you would think some soap would be included.Don't do what we did, stay at one of the other places.

Coffee pot had old mouldy grounds in it and no coffee to drink, fridge is very loud

After spending two nights trying to camp and getting devoured by more mosquitos than a bullfrog could dream about and malaria could fantasize about I called it quits and entered the old chateau. It’s one of my ballsier moves but at my age I’m all about risk optimization. So no more fear of wild bears and millennials trying to find themselves in the woods. No sir, I spent a night sleeping like a prince. And despite all the lies out there about this little place, I didn’t hear nobody turning tricks next door or cooking up stuff on a stove top. I did make myself some microwave popcorn. The microwave died halfway through the popping. All in all it beats being sucked dry by a swarm of insects. Hands down.

No hot water and the walls are paper thin.
