RBC Royal Bank

Recently lost one of our business debit client cards and what should have been a simple routine process to issue a new card turns out to be a nightmare. An inexperienced employee managed to cancel all cards linked to this account. Now a month later and we still do not have a replacement. Not only were we left to operate with bank drafts only, the employee that caused this mess tried to ignore the situation completely. The matter has reached upper management and still for some reason we are waiting. What’s even more frustrating is I called today and was told the card wasn’t requested. This began June 6 and is now June 29 - 2020

I am here now and the line up is out the door. There are two staff members going along the line asking people if they can help them. How about having those two people open a kiosk so the line can move faster!! Bring back the deposit window back for businesses!!

I have had mixed experiences with this bank. Advisors can be condescending and unhelpful at times, but the tellers are very polite and helpful. I want to give Bryce a shoutout for going above and beyond today to help resolve an issue, and remaining exceptionally polite in response to my own agitated state.

Worst Branch Ever , dont book an appointment in this branch, waist of time. They will not solve your problems.

I visited the bank site on rossland and garden, my business card didnt work and I visited the site to ask for the reason it was randomly cancelled. we were treated very badly and very unprofessionally and very aggressively by the manager megan, she was very rude and being very racist towards us. She didnt introduced her self and very aggressive with attitude, she didnt want to hear our frustrations, megan cut us off in the middle of the conversation she is like we can give you new card we dont know why it got cancelled " or you can leave as we were talking to each other she is like okay you can leave and threatened us "you want me to call the cops" she went into her office room. Being rbc clients for 14 years

Saw the CTV story about the woman from Whitby whose bank card was stolen and her account used to steal a few thousand dollars.RBC callously blamed her and lied, accusing her of giving out her pin, despite video evidence of a thief using her card. RBC refuses to support their customer and wants the woman to pay and even called COLLECTIONS on her. Additionally, her daily withdrawal limit is 1500 but somehow RBC screwed up and allowed the theif to withdraw over twice that amount and still blamed this innocent woman.This was all the motivation I needed to finally say goodbye RBC; I'm moving to Simplii. So congrats, you've lost way more money from me than you would have if you'd just done the right thing and supported this woman.

This was my first time at the location and let me tell you, save your time and go to another branch. It took at least 10mins for anyone to even attend to us; even though there were 3 staff just walking around in the back. The teller that finally assisted us needs a class in customer service! To let us know she was ready for us, she flashed her hand in the air to call us over, got to the window and no greeting, throughout the entire transaction you'd think we were a bother to her! Most of the transaction she had her hand on her cheek, she didn't try to build a rapport or anything with us. She didn't even thank us for our business, she's absolutely terrible and doesn't deserve to be helping anyone. I also saw that the branch will be renovating soon, hopefully they can put their CSRs through a Customer Service training while doing this.

Best bank branch near my house, Danielle is the best banking advisor, she was able to answer all the questions really well, she helped me open the account and gave clear and precise information and explained all the things really well. I also wanted to add a credit card and she went above and beyond to assist with the application. She is knowledgeable and knows the process well.
