Golden House Restaurant
Mom and I decided to stop in on our way home. Which is about 45 minutes from this restaurant. When we got home the food was still warm the soup was spot-on it was really hot still :) I expected everything to be cold by the time we got home. I had the chow mein fried rice and chicken balls and I'm still eating them right now as I write this. And I'm not a leftovers type of person but this is all gone. Will be back next time I'm around that way

Food is always good and fast and the portions great. We usually get the dinner for 2 and always have left overs. Best Chinese food on the shore.

I drive by it all the time and have never stopped until tonight.......yum! So glad I stopped. Could only eat half my order. No shortage of food that's for sure! Only took 15 minutes for my oder placed on a Friday night at supper time! The lady working the counter was so nice, really friendly and super efficient. I would totally recommend giving them a try!

Just got back to newfoundland, and this is the best Chinese food around. I have tried numerous others and in several cases had to throw it in the garage. This really is the place for Chinese. Fresh, tasty and overall delicious.

This is my favorite Chinese food restaurant in CBS and even in St. John's. The service is always friendly, efficient and fast. They always get my orders right (and my orders are always large because I have a family of 5), the prices are fantastic and the food is great quality and delicious! Also, the restaurant is very clean, tidy and up to date. I highly recommend.

There are three Chinese food joints in CBS and this is the newest. The food portions are great and the pro e is very reasonable. The Dinner for two could be a dinner for three or guaranteed lunch to take to work the next day.
