New Panda Buffet
We recently held a birthday party here with around 20 people. The selection was excellent and the buffet counters were kept clean. Food was hot and fresh, and replenished if any selection was running low. Communication was also very good, the restaurant even called a few days in advance to reaffirm our reservation was still happening. Service was friendly and polite.

I really liked it. It is affordable and fresh. A lot of options for vegetarians. I love it how they encourage people to take smaller portions due to world hunger. Restaurant is really clean. They may not have a huge selection but I gave them 5 stars for the price, freshness, friendly staff and they seemed to have what I wanted.

Last month, I arranged the birthday party of my daughter. Overall, it was a good experience. I found the owner Jie and staffs professional and responsible. The food quality is very good, and there is halal option as well. I hope to visit there in thr coming months as well.

Decent experience. All you can eat buffet which are very few in the city if Halifax. This place offers a wide range of East Asian food. The food is good. No complaints there. The service was also very good. The staff were smiling, very polite, and always checking on its customers.I've been there approximately 4-5 times and my only criticism is that the restaurant has never been renovated. It would be nice to have the seating areas updated and cleaned as there were liquid stains on the tables and seats, peeling paint on walls and wooden seats, etc. Otherwise, you will enjoy the food and service.

Really unimpressed with the food and cleanliness. The lights were off/extremely dim/flickering in the bathroom and above the buffet. Nothing was really labeled so we couldn't tell what we were eating. The only thing we managed to enjoy was the fried chicken.. and it was more than double what I would have liked to pay for the quality. The waitresses were very kind but since there were no customers they kind of just hovered and waited for something to do.

I remember it used to be a good restaurant with a good selection even on lunch time But over the last time so called “New Panda” got worse and worseI saw again Almost empty trays No longer seafood e.t.c Waiters looking at clients how they struggling to find something to eat and no one cares to refill trays On your request to add food in trays no one doing this

My best friend and I went in there to eat 1st time Seems half of the food there is previously frozen it's not Freshly cooked or made from scratch... The broccoli salad was freshly made and had hair on the spoon to use and I took it out and got a new spoon for the salad I left the spoon there for the waiter to pick up when I went up to pay I mentioned about the hair on the food at the buffet and they charged us each $25 when I mentioned the hair the woman at the desk told Me Too! Bad it's public she didn't go and get the spoon with the hair on it and she didn't offer me a discount or a free meal I'll never go back again and I'll be calling the manager.

This place changed ownership. There is a new manager from Hong Kong, people say that she does not like customers eating at the buffet. Despite that she is neither attractive nor friendly, they do have a cute female manager, and the food are fresh and delicious. I have given them the highest rate. This is THE best Chinese buffet in this area; the price is reasonably low. I do have one comment hoping to reach their ears: their dumplings are great with fresh meat, but due to management flaws, I believe the fillings are not thoroughly cooked. It was designed to be sitting in the buffet for 30 minutes to be fully cooked, but people get them immediately. So I feel the fillings inside the dumplings are somewhat raw.
