Cineplex Odeon Barrhaven Cinemas

Pretty quick line ups. The theater hasn't been updated to the full recliner seats so not as comfortable. Otherwise a good time.

Never had a bad experience here. Recently, my friend and I went to see a movie. He mistakenly bought tickets for the wrong theatre but the manager was able to make a swap without any problem.

Unfortunately not a great experience.Probably the worst part was the amount of teenagers and youth there. To be CLEAR, I am glad they’re in the movies in a relatively safe place instead of doing possibly worse things…however, this place is silver-city for teens. They were all over the place, kept talking and socializing in the movie and it felt like we were being run over. The teen couple behind me kept kicking the back of my chair while they played footsie. Once the movie finished they took over the exit doors by standing in the way and the parking lot. Chasing and yelling at in and out between vehicles and stopping traffic while on bikes as well. Just wasn’t something peaceful for adults trying to see a movie. I’ve never experienced the feeling of random mutual confusion from the few other adults who were there as we all looked confused at each other wondering if it was “teens night”. Definitely don’t think it’s like this all the time, but just incase I won’t be going here again—at-least for not a long time.Aside this, the theatre is old and needs updating. The screens feel old and underwhelming. Sound and colour were not great. Felt like I was back in high school using low grade projectors. Seats are also the regular old ones and they are not recliner.

The teenage staff are nice but man oh man is this place yucky! Seats are old, bathroom was disgusting, whole theatre smelled musty

Could have been a little more organized for son's birthday party. Short on time to get everything done. Otherwise, it was an affordable fun party idea for kids.

The theatre looks clean. Seating would be a bit uncomfortable for tall people. The screen looks a bit dull.

Barely anybody working last night. Frustrating trying to get popcorn and waiting 25 minutes in line. While 2 people do all of the work behind the counter, 3 others just watch and do nothing.

The Cineplex is now run by little kids who take joy in interrupting everyone's movie experience. Asked for help from a staff member and they still didn't get kicked out. Had the movie I watched last night completely ruined.If you're ever at a movie with annoying kids, don't ask for a staff member. Ask for a manager.

I was excited to see a movie here but the power went out. The staff quickly gave us vouchers so the service was good. I'll have to follow up with this review later when I see another movie there. Updated! I went to the theatre again and watcheda 3d movie. The 3d in this theatre is top notch as is the sound. The seats are comfortable as well. Worth going to!

Cute little theater, but in major need of a remodel. At least the actual theater rooms. Small, old, and not really providing an experience you can't get in your home. This is definitely not my go to cineplex or theater. Especially with the landmark in kanata, this place could use some changes.
