Great Fish and Chips. Nice view from the restaurant, surrounded by water on two sides. Can eat on deck as well. Fresh food made while you wait. Free wifi.

Friendly staff. Clean environment. The fish is so fresh that the meat is soft, flaky and juicy. The batter is light, fried in fresh oil. The scallops are seasoned with the right amount of citrus and lightly grilled, the meat itself is tender and sweet. They make their own blueberry yum yum this light and fluffy desert is not too sweet just perfect to pair with their amazing coffee. Honestly, I highly recommend this place even though you’ve had many fish and chips in your life. It’s an affordable place to eat in town of Branch.

There weren't too many options of places to eat when we stayed in Branch, so we ate at The Loft Restaurant. Since I had eaten quite a bit of deep fried cod while in Newfoundland, I decided to try something different. So I ordered the pork chop meal. The pork chop was extremely tough, so much so it was barely edible. The only reason I'm giving it a 3 star rating is because my husband ordered fried cod, which was excellent, and because the onion rings we ordered were excellent as well. My husband thought the cod may have been the best he had in Newfoundland. I would recommend avoiding the pork chops. If you want an almost guaranteed good meal, stick to the cod!

Awesome!!! The staff was friendly and food was good and fresh. I really like the chicken caesar salad and the fish n' chips. Reasonable prices too.

The service wasn't very good but the food was.There were 2 tables with 4 seats each. My family and I were a party of 6. The server turned us away because she said there wasn't room for us but my mother asked if we could sit separately at the 2 tables; the server said it was fine so, we did.Another group came behind us and the server told them they could go on the patio to wait. My family was never told about the patio.My family, which included 3 children and 3 adults each ordered a different meal and we each enjoyed it.Personally, I thought my fries were tasteless and I didn't love the texture but I thought the dressing and gravy were very tasty! I also had some of my family members nachos and they were very good.The server never checked in with any of us during our meal and never told us how to pay for our meal when we were finished.I noticed there were 2 people waiting to be seated and about a group of 6 also waiting.My family and I left our tables after eating so the server could clean them and seat the newcomers.The server seated the just 2 people at a table for 6 people and didn't clean off the other tables of 4 and the group of 6 left the restaurant.I don't understand why the server couldn't seat the group of 6 at the table for 6, clean off a table for the 2 people and serve the 2 first since they were there first -- everyone wins.This of course is me assuming the group of 6 wanted to eat there and considering how my family and I were treated...

Best fish and chips ever!!!! Light batter, 6 oz pieces of fish (2), and a proper portion of homemade fries. The best part? The price - only $12.50! WOW!!

The people are nice, waitress was great, the atmosphere wasn't very nice pretty bland to be honest. The food was another story .... I ordered chicken wings and they literally served me the grossest chicken wings you could possible find. They served the frozen wings you can buy at food land the Watsons kind which are absolutely garbage !! And to top it off charged me like 15 bucks for them when I could go buy them and cook them myself for half the price !!! This alone turned me away from EVER making the drive there to try it ! Never returning
