I was recommended by a restoration company to hire John Rocke at Beach Rocke Engineering LTD. When I initially called the office for John to come do an assessment he said he would come take a look, one month went by and I hadn't seen or heard from him. After calling his office to follow up he finally showed with his associate, Percy. Following their evaluation I asked for a report of the findings for litigation purposes and after waiting another month with no communication from John or his company I contacted his office again only to be told it would take 3-4 additional weeks to receive my report. I called Johns receptionist at the 4 week mark to inquire about the report in which she told me it was going to take another 4 weeks for him to get this done for me. Totally unacceptable! Needless to say I terminated my business with this incompetent person and his company. Due to his lack of interest, inability to meet timelines and failure to provide the slightest bit of good customer service I wouldn't recommend him or this company for any engineering needs.

So far I have been dealing with John by email and all the replies have been very prompt, and several well after what I could consider normal business hours. No issues at all.

Beache Roche Engineering has always completed plans and made appointments as required for me. A professional operation all around.

Prompt and professional service. An engineer was available the same day to do a site visit and the drawings were completed within a couple of weeks. Note there is an additional charge if using mastercard or visa.

I was planning some home renovations and wanted to open up the upstairs by removing a supporting wall, the engineer visited my house and checked it out and came up with an acceptable plan. While he was working on them I ran across another problem with some floor structure in the main bathroom that meant I needed a second permit to apply the required structural changes, they were able to check my plans and stamp them and the city, eventually, approved the drawings and issued me a permit.As a side note, the main drawings for the upstairs were rejected by the city due to a change in what they wanted on the documentation, Beach Rock made the changes and sent them to the city within 24 hours of being notified that the city wanted the wording changed as well as providing me with 3 printed and a digital copy at no additional charges.Easy to get to by either the 14 or 16 bus.

Great people to deal with. Very reasonable pricing and great at accommodating the requests for further information and changes.I'm definitely a customer for life!
