As far as donuts go it was better than Tim Horton's but than again most places are. Tried the charbroiled pork noodle bowl. Was not impressed. Portions were generous enough but could have used more veg. Meat was a bit sour tasting and rubbery. The bahn mi lemon grass pork sub was decent but the meat again was nothing special at all. There are far, far better Vietnamese places with better pricing as well. Donuts I'd give **** out of *****Food *** out of 5Service ***

Ordered a donut and viet ice coffee which I enjoyed.Unfortunately I was a loss for words when I received my fried chicken poutine with kimchi. I was handed air fried No Name chicken nuggets and fries with kimchi… That’s unacceptable. I’ve ordered this before and it did not look like this..

I dined in at Grand Donuts earlier this week - ordered the Charbroiled Pork sub/Banh mi for the first time and it was so good (my new go-to).Last night I pre-ordered and picked up the BBQ Chicken banh mi.Some might say the subs are pretty basic but I'm a pretty picky eater so these were fantastic :DThey also have apple fritters that are larger than my hand.

The tastiest, softest, most well made selection of donuts I've ever had the privilege of buying and gorging myself on... Highly recommend. Buy a dozen for the office and get yourself a half dozen to horde. If the donuts are this phenomenal, I can only imagine how good the tiramisu is.

Update.. we came here again in Sept 2022 and we were disappointed that it didnt taste as good as it used to. We ordered the same items such as apple fritter, beef pho and chicken banh mi. The apple fritter is really, really good!! The banh mi and pho were not flavorful surprisingly and the pho had “not homemade” aftertaste.. we will come back for the donuts/fritters!We went around 7:30pm and got two donuts (apple fritter and lemon filled) and tried their chicken banh mi and beef pho. Service was good and the place felt welcoming. The donuts were just okay, the apple fritter was really good but the lemon felt flat and had a subtle bitter aftertaste. We’ll try to come earlier when they open so we can taste them hot and fresh. The food was delicious! The banh mi was flavourful and filling. The pho was not the best, but I was surprised how good it was. All of this food plus one soda drink came out to less than $30! We were so full at the end. Thank you, we will be back!

Ever had a Banh Mi with a side of jelly filled donuts? GrandDonut is your spot for Vietnamese food and donuts around the Regent area. Situated along north Lagimodiere, Grand Donut can be a part of your morning coffee and donut or a part of your evening meal! And sometimes, why not a bit of both? They have a large selection of hand made donuts. Try paring it with a Vietnamese Ice coffee for extra effect. Their Banh mi’s are overflowing with meat and contrasted with the freshness of their veggies and cucumber. I am so happy that we have something this good in the corner of Winnipeg!

Lemongrass steak banh mi was no joke one of the tastiest sandwiches I've ever had.

Our first visit to this place was not good. Tables were occupied by dirty plates, doughnuts weren’t labelled and the staff didn’t know which doughnut was which, so it was an uncomfortable and confusing experience. A year later, we went back and there were still no labels. All the customers ahead of us in line pointed and asked “what’s that one?” Although customer service was better, the quality of doughnuts was questionable. The Boston Cream had very little filling.

My tastes might not be reflective of yours.A week prior to this visit, I had stopped in to grab a few donuts, which were very good. I had noticed their menu and was intrigued as they also serve Vietnamese food. The digital menu was not working (it had been a week earlier when i visited for the first time for donuts) and they did not have any paper print-outs so it started off poorly. The photo of the menus online are also quite dated and don't reflect current pricing.Service was quick at 11:45 and the place was fairly quiet so I expected a fairly quick turnaround for my order.FD14 Charbroiled Pork Banh Mi sandwich and FD28 Beef Pho, requesting that both be made spicy. I was a little shocked at the price as for the 2 items it came to over $28 (not including tip).Con: The order ended up taking over 22 minutes.Con: No menu, no pricingFD14 Charbroiled Pork Banh Mi SandwichPro: Good size sandwich, about 9 - 9.5 inchesPro: Ample amount of meat and saucePro: The bun was very nice, with some crunch but soft as wellCon: Not enough vegetables, limited cilantro, and the vegetables were a little bland and did not taste pickledCon: I had asked for spicy and it was not spicy at allScore: 6.5/10FD28 Beef PhoPro: Portion size was goodPro: Served in 2 separate containers with soup in one and the noodles in the otherPro: The beef - There were two types of beef, one being the commonly used dense meatball-like chunks and the other real sliced beef. Both were tender.Con: Could have used more onions and/or some sproutsCon: Soup was bland and not as flavorful as I've come to expect with a good PhoCon: I had asked for spicy and it was not spicy at allScore: 6.5/10*I would score the Pho a 5.5 due to the blandness of the broth however, the amount of beef saved this dish from the lower score.Advice to owners: I'd recommend contacting Google to have the photos linked to your establishment updated, removing old menu photos with outdated pricing, with updated menu photos that reflect current pricing. (Max 5MB jpg each)Menu price on Google search:FD14 Banh Mi Pork Sandwich: $7.19FD28 Beef Pho: $9.89I did not keep my receipt however, as previously mentioned, with tax but not including tip, it came to over $28.Overall, I can't give my experience at this establishment anything better than a 3/5 stars.*The donuts were very good on my prior visit 4/5 stars but a little pricey costing almost $10 for 3 donuts*Important - Again, this was my experience and my opinion based on my tastes and preferences. Your tastes and preferences will likely differ so please do try this establishment for yourselves.I do plan on going back and trying this place again as their donuts were good and I'd expect that their other baked items would be equally as good.
