The two biggest positives for this store is the staff are always friendly and helpful, and the location is super convenient.It is a smaller location so the selection/stock is a bit restricted but considering the size they have packed in a large enough selection that I have usually been able to find something to suit my needs. Surprisingly they even have a dog wash station. They also sometimes have a cat from AARCS; I actually first saw my cat, Grisborne, (I got through AARCS) while he was at this store.

Bought a harness for my dog, it didn't fit and I had the original packaging and receipt so I went to return it the next day. On the Pet Valu website, their return policy is said to be 'If you are not satisfied with your in-store or online purchase, we will happily offer a refund. For products returned in their original packaging with a receipt within 30 days of purchase, refunds will be issued in the same form of payment the product was purchased'. I went to return it and the lady and a man there said that they don't do cash refund and gave me a gift card. It was just tried on, and I had untouched original packaging of it and receipt. Additional to that both the employees said that the policy is return with gift card if anything $49 or more... my harness was $41. Unfair return policy + Employees do not know their own return policies. Not Impressed.

Went in to get some cat treats and saw a nice betta, pet store bettas tend to be depressed and unhealthy but this petvalu actually has a small air system into each enclosure, all the fish were full colour and swimming about. Pisces doesn’t even have that. Super impressed. Fish seems happy and healthy. Aquarium section is very small but very well curated, will be going back for any last minute additives or food.

Super friendly staff and they have lots of great options to feed and entertain your pets! I LOVE natural balance wet and dry salmon and pea formulas for my cats!

They have a great selection of food, toys, and all you need for any pet. Their prices are good and the staff helps you asap. You can rely on their support. Love them, and they are open late.

Staff are always friendly and helpful, decent selection for how small the store is but still limited options regarding variety.

Cats gotta eat and I had no time to go to my regular store. Nice neat and tidy and sometimes they have AARCS kitties on site to make me feel guilty for only having one cat. 10/10 recommend if you want to inspire your partner (or yourself) to get another animal

Tam is awesome. Very knowledgeable and helped me a lot. Had another with her,this store definitely cares about life a lot more than money.
