This is the best butter I've ever tasted. They use fresh, local ingredients and have the yummiest seasonal flavours! What's more, Chad and Marie are super helpful and kind. A small business with heart!

Honestly the best butter I have ever tasted. We bought the salted butter to go with an out of this world sour dough loaf and it was amazing. Lovely shop with lots of curated Ontario products - jam, pickled beets, mustards, maple rubs and sugars, locally roasted coffees, local cheeses and of course BUTTER etc. Stop in! You’ll be glad you did.

The butter is out of this world good, would make the half hour drive any day of the week for a restock. Also loved the selection of other local products!

I went to Lofty Butter in Colborne recently and had a really positive experience. I went for bread and some treats for a get together and while it's not a big store, it's got lots of really thoughtful options.The fresh bread selection from Wildflower Bakery is lovely, as well as a few great options from local makers like Lalies relish, Soulsa, pyramid ferments, maple syrups. and more.I'll be back!

I am so happy to have found this little store in my new home town! Bought an apricot and quinoa breads and it was the best bread Ive ever had! You need to try it! Butter is home made and tasted so fresh, will definitely be back!

I stopped in here today on a day trip after seeing them featured in a Toronto Star article. I spoke with the owner Chad, who was friendly and approachable. I purchased two of their artisanal, small-batch cultured butters. One was a Smoked Sea Salt & Pepper. The other was an Everything Bagel flavour. The butters did not disappoint. They were flavourful, smooth on the tongue, aromatic, and had an intensity and depth of flavour that commercial butters do not have. The quality is at another level. I wish I had purchased more. Chad was also helpful in assisting me in packing the butters so they’d survive the trip home. This is a must do if you’re in Colborne. I hope to find their butters and other products closer to home, but will certainly stop by when I’m in the area.

Chad and Marie have opened a wondeful shop with locally sources products. We purchased Fruitful Smoothies - Beach Vibes and they are delicious. Looking forward to trying our Original Saucy Dotty's gourmet sauce.
