Consulate General of Spain

This has been by far the best experience I've had with any government office. Anabel has gone above and beyond to help me.

They never answer calls or replying emails. I’ve been trying for over a month

Don’t go there, it’s NOT a consulate yet, it’s the private residence of the representative of Spain in Vancouver. The sign is there but not up yet & the Spanish flag is lowered. The villa is still been renovated.

I just spoke with the Consul General for clarification on the rules for entry into Spain from Portugal for late October 2021 (Traveling on a Canadian passport). Representative was helpful providing current rules and directing me to a site for further reference.

No ir, al parecer no está habilitada. Deberían de actualizar su estatus en google. No contestan emails ni llamadas.

Anabel está al mando en Vancouver, British Columbia, ¡Qué suerte tenemos!Hace todo y más para ayudar a cualquier español que está en la provincia. Siempre disponible, atenta y poniendo esfuerzos que nunca hubiese dicho un consulado español haría por nosotros.Hay demasiadas cosas centralizadas en Ottawa y Toronto (como la renovación del pasaporte) que limitan sus posibilidades a la hora de operar. Espero que algún día apoyen más este consulado, somos muchos españoles en la costa oeste y el trabajo que hace Anabel es de admirar. Yo y mis amigos españoles en BC nos sentimos muy protegidos gracias a ella.
