Horrible service. Employees are so unprofessional and not fully trained. Customers were waiting in the line and staff were talking and laughing. They don't even deserve 1 star. Infact superiors sitting in the cabins do not fulfill their promises. Miss RJ I am still waiting for the email which i was supposed to get by may 18 or by next day and today is May 30th still waiting. And you were supposed to wave the interest. And atleast pick up phone or return the calls. I tried calling twice. But it's ok your work has been done by the contact centre agent. May be my one star will not change anything as this branch already have an amazing ratings 2.4. I am very disappointed and will never use any scotiabank services.

My first question I’d like to ask everyone is, do you enjoy working for your hard earned income, only to have your funds stolen from you? If so, you’ve chosen, not only the right financial institution but also the perfect branch to do that for you. Scotiabank will not only treat you with the upmost disrespect, but also show you the same type of loyalty when you try to withdrawal your funds as well. They hire nothing but Indian people so expect nothing more than Pakistani immigrants when visiting or having to see an actual teller or anyone else working at these financial institutions. And if you are of any other race other than their own, expect nothing less than to be disrespected and treated like a minority. This specific “financial institution” only hires Pakistan and middle eastern type employees, and if your skin is any other colour, except to be treated poorly. Do NOT let these robbers and thieves handle your hard earned profits, especially if you are a senior citizen. Also, avoid institutions like CIBC as they also practice the same type of crook and criminal “crooks” behaviour. This specific branch at “Kirwin Avenue and Hurontario street” is one of “if not” the most awful branches of Scotiabank in existence and if not for my advice and review I am writing you here or even have taken my own time to warn yourself with, just don’t get all upset at the end when I did warn you NOT to do business with this specific branch or any Scotiabank branch, period.I guess if you are of “Pakistan or Indian “ relations, you’ll be treated rarely fairly, if not, avoid this institution like you did the last pandemic, you’ll all thank meAfterwards.

When i was young, I brought birthday money to set up my first bank account at this branch. The teller accused me of theft, lol. I will never forget this interaction.

Customer service is terrible. The teller makes us go back and forth! And no solutions is being provided. The teller is rude and has no respect for the client. They say out out personal information loud even though knowing that these sensitive information should stay confidential. She even refused to mentioned her name.I definitely do not recommend this branch.

Bad service overall, but what bothers me the most is the closed doors after hours and not being able to withdraw funds only at the drive through, which is uncomfortable and hard to see! Area is very dark at night, no lights. You are making billions in fees, get some lights in the parking lot, some landscaping work and make the branch more attractive and safe for your customers.

Teller accused me of using words thatI did not do which she was the one that talk to me disrespectful in a rude manner and trying to tell lies on me I was so upset I believe disciplinary action must be taken when they have those kind of staff dealing with the customers

I would give 0 starts if I could.Horrible customer service, I went to deposit 3k cash on 15 Sept 2022, the teller machine was broken and they still deposited my money in it, 400$ are stuck with no timeframe given of when I will receive money back. No technician was called to fix the machine as it was nearing closing time and when I complained the customer service representative said and I quote ' it's just 400$'.Worst assistance ever and the worst service I have ever experienced.

I've been with scotia for 13 years and I am in the process of leaving this bank. Their customer service is horrendous.My banking has been a breeze with RBC. Once I finish closing out all my accounts I will never turn back here

I went to this branch to open an RESP account for my daughter. Neither I asked for pre- authorized funds transfer nor I requested for SIS. The bank employee has set them up on the account without my consent even though I explicitly and clearly said I do NOT want those. I have to close all my accounts there. This has made me extremely upset.
