3. As a new immigrant to Canada, this program prepared me not only for my profession in Health and Human Services, but also for confidently acing interviews. While at Brookes College, I expanded my knowledge base in Human Services, especially trauma informed care, which has been a guiding principle throughout my career. Both the course content and the teaching methods were informative and interesting. Prior to completing the program, I got my first job in Human Services, and a few months later, I landed a job at Alberta Health Services. Brookes College is an excellent choice for anyone looking for an in-depth education and a higher knowledge level.

I had the opportunity of pursuing a diploma at Brookes College and I must say, it was a very rewarding experience. My studies not only included what I was interested in but a whole lot more. I had a wholesome experience fine tuning my desire and passion of helping others - our instructors were also practitioners in the field. Their seasoned knowledge enriched our class discussions as well as the deep feedback we received.Classes were mostly reflective, interactive, and engaging as our discourse were mostly tailored towards exploring along with sharing standpoints from the diverse cultures represented. The online mode of instructions was 100% a win for me as a busy mum.The administrative staff as well as our instructors were highly responsive and willing to help each time I reached out for any enquiry or concern.Overall, I would recommend Brookes College for anyone who is looking to begin a career in Human Services.

Promotes quality of education that is the main reason why I attended this school and have only amazing things to say; a welcoming environment where you feel like family .Staff and instructors are very helpful and genuine , they will guide students to the best of their knowledge and abilities , what I love the most is the Opportunities for one on one time with the instructor and very grateful that I was able to stay up my studies and continue to develop.

It was a great and rewarding experience enrolling in the Diploma - Human Services course at Brookes College, Calgary. The course afforded me the opportunity to learn the different areas of social work, and no doubt gave me a strong advantage in securing a position as a social worker, immediately after the course completion.
