My mom was the one who always swore by this place and she’s right! The staff is great and always helpful and explains exactly what you’ll be charged for! This is the only mechanic shop my family uses! Highly recommend!

We had trouble finding a good and honest car repair shop in Vernon when we moved to the city in 2002. After a few bad apples we discovered Southward Auto and Craig has been our trusted mechanic for a long time.He is very knowledgeable, always finds what the problem is and fixes it in a timely manner without overcharging.We are moving away from Vernon soon and we are going to miss his expertise.If you encounter any problems with your car, go and see Craig and you will not be disappointed.

Needed to get a diagnosis of a coolant leak. Craig made an appt and when I returned, quickly diagnosed the problem. After a recent incident with being highly overcharged for work in the U.S, it was refreshing to have someone who still knows what honest customer service" is about. Would recommend and will be back for future work!"

Quoted 3k to replace front differential. Brought truck home and fixed it ourselves for 60 bucks. I dont think he even looked and based the quote off the detailed symptoms i gave him. Tsk tsk. Shouldnt burn bridges.

These guys are so awesome. They are super fast and friendly and don't over charge. I would recommend this place 100 times over. I'm a single mom and I know my vehicle is taken care of here.
