Alamo Rent A Car

Book a car online and it’s almost a guarantee they won’t have what you need. Waited an additional 5 hours for them to source a vehicle that for my requirements. Originally booked a mini van and was offered a Mitsubishi Mirage. Very poor communication during the entire process. Unfortunate the options in Kamloops are very limited (Enterprise is the same company). Pick up scheduled at the airport and no sales person was even scheduled to work that day. Thankfully we did end up with a nice Jeep Grand Cherokee.

They offered to upgrade me to an Infinity sedan when I arrived last week. Car was in very good condition. The guys at counter were excellent as well.

We specially asked them if we can drop of the car little late and they said , yes we could definitely do that without any additional cost.but they charged us almost 100$ plus.Please have a courtesy to inform before or at least don't provide with false information and charge later .Not recommend

Renting from Alamo was a complete disaster. I rented a few day before my arrival and was given a confirmation number. When I arrived at the counter I was told that the car I had rented was unavailable. In fact, there were no cars available. I had to be in a city 3 hrs away that day with absolutely no way of getting there. An employee from a a competitor Budget....came over and said he had one SUV available. It ended up being three times the price for a walk up rate. Alamo refused to compensate me for the difference in rental costs. I was not the only person that landed in Kamloops and had no car from Alamo. You would think that when you get a confirmation number that your car is confirmed. Apparently not. Don't rent from Alamo in Kamloops.

Wat een ontzettend slechte maatschappij, auto gehuurd in Vancouver kregen al een auto mee met servicemelding. Na 14 dagen houd de auto er mee op, alamo gebeld, 6 uur gewacht aan de Highway of tears, toen nog een keer gebeld en was er niks gebeurd. We zijn nu 2,5 dag verder en bij elke keer bellen krijgen we een andere medewerker die nergens van weet.

We rented a car from here in mid-August. The 2 gentlemen at the counter, Prajit and Ali I believe, were very kind and helped us immensely. I had booked a compact car because most of the time you get something a lot larger which I did not want. They ensured I got a great smaller car, a Mercedes in fact and it was amazing!! They were both very helpful throughout the whole process.
