Dr. Joseph Porepa

I would say he is knowledgeable and experience . He will tell you if anything concern about your child’s health . He always make sure to give baby the best medicine or treatment they need . He is not friendly,he is not your friend at all .I agree however he just do the best in his job . He is really careful doctor . I admire him for his care for my daughter and that’s all I ask for my daughter ‘s doctor

Secretary very rude and grouchy, u can very well tell she doesn’t like her job doctor seems very nice and good at taking care of his patients, can’t really confirm I was denied going in the room with my daughters first doctors appointment.

In the beginning we were looking for a paediatrician for our son and of course we wanted the best for him. After a lot of reviewing we finalized Doctor Joseph but on our first meet we didn’t felt welcomed as he was “super busy” and didn’t had time to answer his patient questions (don’t know what the doctor is for if he cannot answer or clarify anything for his patients) After that meet we thought to give more try as he was the “best doctor in the area” so we went for our son’s first vaccine to which we waited for almost 2 hours regardless of having an appointment and reaching the clinic before time. After a long wait we went ahead according to his instructions and again waited inside for 20 more minutes. Finally he came in to give our son first shot of vaccine and upon his crying he made weird faces and sigh noises.If the doctor is paediatrician so you as a parent will have much more faith and confidence in your child’s paediatrician and upon this incident we felt that our choice was wrong and our son doesn’t deserve it. Of course a doctor is a human and you can have ups and downs but you are also taking care of children and not comforting a child or not making a connection is not welcoming. If you are “busy” then take less patients or give lesser appointments rather than making your patients uncomfortable and being seated for 2 hours. Right now our son is 2.5 years old and thank god we left Doctor Joseph after the second appointment and found one of the best paediatrician in our city!

The pediatrician is good, but the lady at the front desk is a lazy person. It appears she doesn't know how to turn off the answering machine nor does she return any phone call. I called one time to confirm on the dates of an appointment but no response no indication the message was recieved. When I came on the wrong date thinking it was the correct date the lady indicated it was last week. I told her I called last week and I didn't even get a call back to confirm all she had for an excuse is it's busy. I looked around and I saw 2 families in the waiting room and I'm going to assume 3 families in the rooms for Joseph to conduct his duties. I'm going to make this very clear Joseph is a good pediatrician. That front desk lady is not she has an attitude always has since she started. She is not making the first interaction a positive one. When I tried to book an appointment when she chooses to grace her time to pick up the phone she is very much vague. I ask her what is available in a month she says you gotta give me a date. When I give her a date she then says it's full. Wouldn't it be easier to give me a date over the phone that is available? But hey can't go against this sorry excuse for a lazy person . Then when you challenge her she seems I'm inconveniencing her like it's her time I'm wasting. It's absolutely pathetic. Dr. Please for all that is sane and good replace this girl. She is doing you absolutely no favors. Her work ethic is below any women I k ow who wants to keep their job

He's always there when the appointments were set and explains everything that is happening or will happen for my son's care. I wish I knew of him earlier so my daughter could have had him as well. Dr. Porepa is a terrific pediatrician and I would recommend him for this area. Very convenient and always willing to educate parents on pediatric care. Thank you!

I must say this place is unprofessional as a doctor’s office. I was referred to him and I’m very disappointed! The receptionist first called and made the appointment, on the day of the appointment called whiles I was about to leave the house to tell me appointment was cancelled. She never rescheduled and I kept calling to be greeted by an answering machine thus which made my daughter behind for a vaccinations. This was the first incident. I was booked for an appointment for May 1st, 2023. I got my child’s father to take the day off work to bring us there. Upon arriving there the office was closed. I then called to get an answering machine saying the office will be closed til whenever. I never received a call saying the office would be closed. So what’s the point of having a receptionist if she can’t call the people she made appointments with to cancel! I’m sorry once bitten, twice shy …… I will look for another Paediatrician to take my little one to!

I have been trying to call since 9:30am and it is now 10:20 and I have still not gotten through to book an appointment for my infant. They still have the weekend message on. I’m very disappointed considering that he’s a great doctor.

***The new reception with the Caribbean accent is extremely rude***She does not follow through with clerical tasks regarding your child ex: refills. She is very rude on Mondays over the phone, when Dr. Porepa is out of office and she can get away with mistreating his patients. This is unacceptable as Joseph is a great Dr. and we have been with him for many years.

Very good Doctor Taking care of all my kids for years please with his service. Just dedicated to his work
