Kal Tire

Guys at the front are nice and friendly. But took more than 2 hours for a basic tire swap (on rims) with an appointment. Overall I would have let that slide, but when I got to my car I was shocked! And appaled! My rims were in awful shape!! And nothing like they came in. I don't know where/how they stored them but it was not good. Again the guy at the front was good - said he'd connect with his manager who would get back to me. Waiting on that. But never should have even happened. I'd say stay away from their tire storage at a minimum.

I used to really like this place, but honestly things have gone downhill in the past year. Twice in a row now at my seasonal tire change: 1) the tires were left under-inflated after the change; 2) the TPMS system was not reset; 3) big stickers were left on the tread of each of the (installed) tires. That's just really sloppy.

They fixed my tire but gouged and scratched my rim. I’m obsessive about my wheels and had them resurfaced a few months ago when I bought the car - all are mint except for the one that they worked on. The customer service reps were super friendly and polite and refunded me the cost of the tire repair hence 2 stars instead of 1, but the $40 saved won’t nearly cover the cost to repair my rim.

Don't use them. They are scammer. I had air leaks in one of the tires and brought my car to have them check out. They found a nail stuck in the tire then they told me due to the location of the where nail is stuck

Staff & service was fine for a tire switchover.Horrible booking system. For a 10:30AM appointment, my vehicle took 40 minutes to enter the bay. What other professional service books appointments and does not follow the time?5 star for the workers, 1 star for the companies booking system.

DISHONEST. They are not upright in their dealings. I wanted to buy tires and the sales person pushed for some tires telling me there will be a $100+ rebate. But now their website has gone dead on that option. I sent them via email my invoice but no one bothered to reply even after a month. Very dishonest dealing.I don't see any option for adding another reply but anyhow. Thanks for taking up this matter promptly. Yes someone reached out to me from Kal Tire and told me that they will look into it and explained my case as well. More facts: I went to Mississauga store on Dec 5 2022, confirmed purchase by putting my non-refundable deposit $150.99. They promised me to make available all 4 tires within next few days but then it got delayed to Dec 22. So it is not my fault. If you did not have stock why was my purchase processed on Dec 5th? which is well within promotion period. So I am entitled to the rebate. You must accrue the liability per the intial purchase date , not the one on which you were able to deliver.

Avoid this place like the plague. Made me return twice because they couldn't be bothered to get the right size tires.Finally when I thought it was settled, it turn being the wrong size, again! The manager was far from helpful, and will say the right things for you to leave with no intention of standing behind his word.The positive reviews are honestly a shock to me, while the negatives one show the same incompetence and sloppiness that I've experience both in person and when I called their toll free # to book a reservation.

I visited this Kal Tire location on Aug 12 and the front office staff were friendly and not pushy at all. However I cannot say the same about the mechanics working on the installation. I was told they had trouble removing and installing the low profile tires my car uses and it will take longer than normal, that's fine since I understand this is not a specialist shop. But after the work was done, there were scratches on the wheels and on one of the wheels a piece of black paint chipped off exposing the bare metal underneath.Overall I'm rather disappointed. The fact that a piece of paint got chipped off and they did not mention it at all seems rather dishonest.

I'm from Montreal. I had a nail in my tire. I was able to put some air and drive to this location. Although they were super busy they took my car in right away and repaired the tire. Excellent service.

I just got a tire service yesterday. I booked with a short notice, and the guy named Yaksh, the customer service, was so helpful and nice. They changed my tire quickly and checked alignments for free. l definitely recommend this place
