Furniture Land & Mattresses

I visited a lot of furniture sellers, and finally chose Furniture Land. Because one of their Chinese saleswoman, Tammy, patiently helped us introduce different types of sofas. After the goods arrived, there were some small problems, and she was very dedicated to help us follow up. It was a very good experience. Thank you Tammy for our sales, I think we will be back again for other items.

Came in multiple times to kick around ideas and find just the right couch. They have a wide selection of couches, sectionals, chairs and tables. Some very basic, all the way to more modern and Italian.All the staff members were always patient and helpful but not overly. Finally went in and ordered the perfect fit for my space with Jassy, who was quick courteous and kind. He check availability and gave me a workable time frame, with follow up dates.Looking forward to the new pieces in the near future.

My mom and I are looking to furnish a house, and wanted to start with the dining set as a focus piece in the long open space, and we found a luxurious set at Furniture Land in Richmond. It was a little bit of an impulse buy, since Furniture Land was one of the first places we browsed, but something about this set kept our attention. The greyscale marble pattern is exquisite, and the chrome trim throughout shines without being overly gaudy. The dining table is sturdy and looks heavy because it is. At first, the curved “X” legs were a bit offputting, but it grew on us over time because it added some flair where the standard four straight legs would have dulled the overall majesty of this dining set. The dining chairs are upholstered with thick Italian leather, and the high seat backs offer so much support, although there was some trepidation about the chairs' heights, but they don’t look out of place with a high ceiling; they also need to look weighty and be robust enough to complement the dining table.Jesse helped us at Furniture Land. He showed us other options, but this set was too attention-grabbing to focus on other pieces and sets. We ultimately decided to purchase this same-day, and Jesse arranged for two-day shipping and assembly, which upon delivery took around 50 minutes to fully assemble and move in. My mom and I did end up visiting at least ten other furniture retailers around Richmond—if only for peace of mind and to minimise buyer's remorse—but no dining set came even close to this one we purchased at Furniture Land. We are also cognizant of the global supply chain slowdown, and understand options have been limited for a long while, but we feel lucky to have found this dining set and to have it available and delivered so soon. We are happy with this find, and thank you, Jesse, for your assistance.

We met a nice sales who call Tammy, she can speak Chinese. She is very nice and helpful. She understand what we need and give us helpful opinions.

We bought a few mattress and wanted to exchange as it was unopened.Sales guys, Jessy completely refused it but owner son said they can take it back with 20% restocking fees.However, they will send their warehouse team to check the mattress if they can take it back or not (which made sense)So we decided to exchange mattress and called Richmond and surrey location more then 4 times to Schedule someone to verify the mattress , and I was willing to pay their fees.No one returned my call. Very pathetic and unprofessional customer service.I do understand exchange and return policy for mattress, but sales guy and owner son had different answers.Owner son agreed with exchange but never returned my calls.

Very good service! We bought a sofa that's too big for our house. It stuck on the stairs so we have to return it. No refund but don't worry. You can always change for a smaller one. The owner is supportive. The only thing you have to do is paying the deliver fee. You can even get the money difference back if you chose a cheaper one. Millie is helpful during the process. Great sofa and good price compare to other furniture shop.

I ask my wife and mother in law to shop around sofa bed and dining table but when we visit Furniture land were really happy with the design (simple and elegant). We ended up getting a sofa bed and a beautiful dining table and Millie assisted us with the whole process. They even give us 2 free pillows and recommended a 6 mos financing without any interest.

Family member bought a sofa at Furniture Land for a good price and had a great experience prior to recommending it to us.We went to Furniture Land with low expectations after shopping for a sectional for over a week at different retailers. As soon as we got there we were met by Jassy who helped explain our options and was very pleasant and humorous throughout the encounter. He explained how the furniture they sell is made in Canada and explained the benefits over imported furniture. (10 year warranty, easy to reach manufacturer in case of issues, better quality made furniture bones and features)We selected our furniture fairly quickly and with ease. Jassy once again helped us at check out and made us feel like customers that matter. Entire experience defines what great customer service should be and we wholeheartedly recommend Furniture Land.
