Approach Tours

My husband and I were searching for a way to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary when we came across Approach Tours South Africa + Victoria falls tour it seemed perfect. Boy was it ever! When they say all inclusive they really mean it, the only expenses we incurred were alcoholic drinks and souvenirs. The itinerary was packed full of history, culture, beautiful landscapes and awe inspiring safaris, accommodations were so varied and fun from big city hotels to safari camp glamping, but it was the attention to detail and the personal touches, that will keep us coming back to Approach. Having our group guru Caroline was such a blessing, she made sure everything ran smoothly from hotel changes to bus trips to border crossings and visas solving any hiccups before we even recognized them as an issue. But it was her ability to learn the wishes of every tour member to make each and every one of us experience an amazing trip. The party she organized for our anniversary day will stay with us until we take our last breaths! By the end of the tour we made 30 new friends and travel companions! We would say it was a trip of a lifetime but we plan many more trips with Approach so we now look forward to lots of epic trips in the future! Thank you Approach and dear travel companion Caroline!

My husband and i just returned from Morrocco and it was wonderful. Our guru Miriam was superb. The hotels were beautiful. We had a big coach with lots of space and our driver Zack was the best. There were 14 people including us and everyone got along nicely. The only thing we were not thrilled with was the food..too many tagines and couscous..very bland I expected tasty spices since the country is well known for spices. I would highly recommend this tour

Just returned from the South Africa & Victoria Falls Tour. It exceeded our expectations in every respect.We enjoyed 8 land as well as 2 water safaris. What an incredible experience to be so close to the wildlife in their environments.We learned about local culture. It was a wonderful opportunity to have a local guide in addition to our group guru.All of our accommodations were excellent as well as the meals.This was the first organized tour we had taken in years. We are so glad we did because we never would have seen all the amazing things we did on our own.We are already wondering where we will go next with Approach Tours.

My husband and I took the South Africa trip in March2023. Wow, is the first word that comes to mind! We felt well looked after from our Approach Guru Diana and Deon our local guide. Everything from the breath taking scenery, to the animals(we saw the big 5), to the people in our group and the South Africans made it truly the trip of a lifetime! We would definitely use Approach to holiday again.

My husband and I just got back from the Approach Tours’ 20-day South Africa & Victoria Falls tour. We want to thank Approach Tours for providing us with the vacation of a lifetime. Approach came through all the way…so much food, safaris galore, animal sightings galore, and so much cultural entertainment and education. And, all tipping included!!! Awesome trip! Thank you Approach Tours.

Just returned from Italy and were dissapointed in parts of the tour. Many of the hotels were sub par for what was expected. The food at these hotels was poor as well. The flight scheduling was bad..more cosideration to budget than convenience. Then we were abandoned in Toronto to find a hotel, rebook a flight and find our way home. If you want to become a first class tour company you need to make some changes. Go personally and choose hotels that are what you advertise...do your own flight management with the customer in mind not only budget and complete the trip by getting us home as advertised.

Sicily 2023Overpriced! Only two hotels were close enough to a town to go out and enjoy an evening.Absolutely NO communication from them before the trip, despite promising to be in touch after we had paid. Our requests on our original form were never answered. Nothing was communicated that we could have booked our own flights.Our Canadian guide was Fantastic, as was our Sicilian guide….both topnotch!
