Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que
Typically only order on special occasions and get the legendary feast! Can comfortably feed the whole family of 5-6 and have one meal of leftovers still! Only complaint is in the past few years the brisket has become more dry than before. Customer service is great and always fixes any mistakes.

Sorry, I don't get the rave reviews. This was my first time eating at Famous Dave's. I had chicken tenders, my husband had the brisket and we got a roast chicken for our guest. The chicken tenders were fine, not wonderful, but no complaints. Very small portion. The roast chicken was apparently quite good. The brisket was also fine. The sides were tasteless, over cooked, under seasoned and really just not very good. We ordered the Meat plus 2 sides. The sides were ordered were: garlic mashed potatoes (we called them soup potatoes and they tasted like neither garlic nor potatoes and were horribly overdone); firecracker green beans which were under seasoned but this time had under cooked bacon to go with them--they were completely tasteless; sweet corn, it was fine; steamed broccoli was the best of the sides; the coleslaw was also actually pretty good; and the mac and cheese was the worst: over cooked, tasteless. These meals were $25 a piece. I don't know the restaurant you're all eating at, because we were just disappointed. Maybe don't get the sides? Had to pay for tiny dips for the chicken tenders. And everything was cold. The service was wonderful at the take out counter, though.

The food at Famous Dave's is terrific the ribs chicken brisket the side's the decor is great all the old signs pictures car stuff on the walls the server's are fantastic

Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que
My wife lived in Texas and said it was pretty authentic. Her chilli was not that great and her chicken was okay. My ribblets were great and we liked the fries. There were some menu items missing like the sausage but we were there on a Tuesday so it's understandable that not everything would be available. Nice sauces, we each had a favorite. We received good service and had a good experience overall.

I requested a quote back in March for my upcoming wedding in July. I had contacted Meghan on multiple occasions with the promise of a quote and received no said quote.Needless to say I have now gone with Danny's whole hog as they gave me a quote the same day I reached out.I contemplated writing this review as we love going to dinner at famous daves but I feel the owner should know he is losing business over lack of communication.I remember one manager from a few years back now i havnt seen her since everything reopened after covid... I can't remember her name she had dark brown hair and tattoos ... She was an amazing person to deal with any problems we had she was kind and caring. Always checking in on every table making sure her guests had everything they needed.

Had a pretty good meal at this restaurant. Lots of tables but pretty busy on a friday evening, that we almost didn't get a seat - we ended up on the lounge side of the restaurant. The portions were smaller than I expected - could have more mac 'n cheese as a side. The fish was good if you like spicy food, but was surprised that it didn't talk about the spice/heat in the batter in the description on the menu. The corn bread was very good. Loved the BBQ pineapple spears - grilled to perfection. The pulled pork was good.

A gastronomic experience! Ambiance was also great and the smoked tender pork and beef were to die for. Now I know why it takes a long time to wait if you didn’t come in with a reservation but the wait was worth it!

This restaurant has ample parking. The parking lot is easy to use even on a busy Friday night.They have a variety of seating options. It was busy, tables get full on Fridays.Staff was rushed but friendly.The food came quickly and was fresh and hot.The beef brisket was underwhelming. It seemed rather bland. The toast didn't help. The dull cutlery didn't help.The pork was okay. The flavor of the meat was lost in the sauce.The corn was good.The mac n cheese was awesome, it had a bit of a kick and corn. It was different but it worked. If you expect creamy cheesy comfort mac and cheese this isn't it. Rather small portion.The fish was very good. It was juicy and cooked just right. However it had a spicy coating which was a surprise.Overall it's a bit of mixed bag.

We always seem to find ourselves here at Famous Dave's when we are craving some BBQ. We've visited quite a few times already in the past eight months and I foresee that we'll keep visiting probably until we finally get our own BBQ Smoker
