Hoegler's Muffler City

I called this morning at 9am and explained that my BF suggested the flange on my Escape was rusted. The owner told me to come right in; fifteen minutes later the truck was up on a hoist and they confirmed that it was just a quick job to weld on a new piece. Not knowing a thing about vehicles, being female, and staring up at the whole muffler/exhaust system which all looked pretty old and rusty to my eyes, it would've been easy for a dishonourable mechanic to convince me that the whole thing needed replacing.While I waited for Chandra to do the work, the owner proudly showed me pictures of his children and grandchildren which was very sweet and entertaining. About 15 minutes later, the job was done and it only cost just over $100 with tax!!I also had a nice chat afterwards with Chandra, who has worked there for 35 years. That says a lot about both these guys! I am thoroughly pleased with my experience here: how they quickly accommodated me, the honest work, low price, and friendly manner. Being in a car shop can be very intimidating for a woman and these guys couldn't have been more approachable. Thanks so much and I would def come back!

Went in a year ago to get my aftermarket exhaust fixed for rattling on my 98 Civic. Work was fast and honest. Ended up being way below my budget!Highly recommend. Planning on going back to get a custom muffler done soon.

I was able to come in without an appointment and get some work done on my exhaust. Several other places had refused to replace my parts as I had already bought them from the dealership. The work was done quickly at a great price and i had a good conversation with the owner while I waited. I would highly recommend this place for your exhaust needs!!

I've been to many muffler shops and none have provided service as good as Hoegler's. They do work that other shops don't know how to do or want to touch. As an example, I took my car in to a long-standing,reputable" muffler shop and asked for some custom work to be done.(An over-the-axle 2.5" pipe and a 2.5" u pipe from the muffler to a 2.5" Y pipe.) The "reputable" shop built everything in 2.25" because "we cant bend 2.5" pipe" AND they didn't build it right so it kept hitting the axle. I took it back

I am extremely pleased with this local and independent business, and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking to fix their exhaust! After 55 years being in business, you can see how great Old School" honest repair is still going on

DO NOT come here with YOUR OWN muffler or exhaust system, these guys like doing things “their way” which made them install my direct bolt on muffler wrong which caused exhaust leaks, went back and the owner didn’t offer a solution nor cared so I had to re-bolt the whole thing myself.Based on my experience seems like a ok shop for custom exhausts but not a ok shop for having your own exhaust system installed.

Helmut was so nice. Great customer service, brought the car in just to have a look without an appointment , and he hoisted it up, offered a fair price, and we got it fixed on the spot in an hour and a half! He was very genuine.

Super friendly people! Had a mid muffler installed to reduce drone and overall noise on my car early in the morning, and they were more than happy to get the job done. Highly recommended and good prices.
