Beautiful quiet place to walk & sit by the water .You can bring your own food & chair also lots of metal benches to sit on..spend the day or just a few hrs...your choice

Paletta Lakefront Park
Lake Ontario is ever majestic plus the distant view of Hamilton Steelworks is strangely beautiful at such a distance. The park is very well kept semi formal English Canadian style like the 1930s mansion built overlooking it. Great for walks, picnics and recreation. Far and away the nicest part of Burlington I've ever seen.

although i’ve never been inside the mansion, the outdoor scenery is very nice and lots of local wildlife too(squirrels, birds, chipmunks, etc) the rocks are fun to hangout on, and walks on the path are awesome. although, lots and lots of goose poo, you have to watch your step everywhere you go, but there’s not much you can do about that.

Small and cozy park. There was the Paletta Mansion and private event was being held. The thick fog made it possible to see nearby buildings and trees, but not the lake side at all. The squirrel came close to me and made eye contact.

This is such a wonderful park! I went here with my dog and had such a great time. It has a fantastic view of the lake, plenty of places to sit, very well maintained, and best of all not too many people visit here compared to other parks on the lakefront. The Discovery Path" is a beautiful trail you can take your dog or go for a stroll. It wraps around in a loop and takes you back to where you started. I highly recommend this well-groomed not so busy park."

Paletta Lakefront Park
It’s a nice waterfront park for an afternoon/morning walk. This 14-acre waterfront parkland is the home to “Paletta Mansion”, a great location for weddings, corporate events and gatherings. The backyard of the mansion is a perfect location for wedding and seasonal photography. There’s limited parking spots available if you’re lucky and there’s not events being held at the time you’re visiting.

The property is beautiful, and there are some sitting areas by the lake to sit and enjoy a beverage or simply take in the gorgeous landscape. There are short peaceful trails, allowing for a quick retreat from your worries and my senior dog loves the ease of the short walk. The parking is free !

Paletta Lakefront Park
A great place to hold an indoor event at the mansion, and an incredible place and property to go for a walk. Beach area is all rocks and break wall, giving you a majestic view of the end of Lake Ontario. Lots of parking and enough room to spread out, there's even a toboggan hill in the back for when the snow falls. Also the best place to get a view of the sunrise :)

Paletta Lakefront Park
Hidden gem of Burlington. Beautiful and quite park. Not that big but big enough to sit down and relax. This park was a family estate, now donated to the city. Just amazing.
