The equipment here is top quality and I have never been disappointed. Staff is always helpful. I was looking for an inlay kit for my router and they had one. Every other shop let me down; they didn't carry it or it was out of stock.

Great little woodworking gem. I had no idea this place even existed 2 months ago. Leading brands for woodworking are readily available. Also, quite a bit of stock for the wood turning enthusiasts. If you do any kind of woodworking, you need to check this place out.

During the Covid-19 2020 event I was looking for the Carter Accuright Miter Mill" and guess where I found it - online at CanadianWoodworker.com. I sent an email inquiring about this item and they replied immediately. The Calgary store sourced this item for me through the Winnipeg office. I live in Calgary and item was shipped to me at home. The Miter Mill was priced competitively and I am very happy with the quality and the safety value it brings when cutting logs on my band saw. Thanks to their Calgary and Winnipeg stores for the great service."

Relatively small store that has the same tools and equipment (with their own brand on it) as other stores in the city. Some consumables are cheaper than elsewhere in the city, like sanding belts. I can't recommend any of the CWI tools though - they haven't put any effort in. They are from the same factory as Busy Bee, King Canada and General international (sold just down the road) but they still have the factory manuals and no support from the store. Compared to the other brands, the value for money and post-sale support just isn't there.
