Shermin's Make Up & Hair

Shermin did my and my mother's makeup for a South Asian wedding event, and she did a great job! Despite my oily skin, the makeup stayed put all night and our hair did not move after hours of dancing. We received so many compliments all due to Shermin's work.She was very attentive, and helped us figure what looks we wanted to do. She was able to push my mother out of her comfort zone, but still made her comfortable.Will definitely be rebooking for the next event.

I went to see Shermin for bridal hair and makeup, and for my mom’s hair and makeup for my wedding. Her work absolutely blew us away. She is very attentive, skilled, and really listens to what you want. She knows what will and won’t look good on you. She is also such a sweetheart and so kind. Her prices are very reasonable as well. Shermin is professional and friendly from the start. You can tell she’s very experienced and makes you feel very comfortable : she asked if I have sensitive skin and make sure to listen to my preferences for make up and hair. I like how the falsies she applied are comfortable - I had a wedding event where I was a bridesmaid: I didn’t feel my make up by the end of the night (some event make up makes you feel like you’re wearing a mask) and my hair that was styled by her definitely withstood the wind and mist that day. The mother of the bride and the bride also enjoyed their make up and hair by Shermin. I definitely recommend Shermin to my friends who are getting married or just getting make up done for a photo shoot or event. Another thing I especially liked is that she didn’t try to change my facial features with the make up, she has the talent of bringing out your best features and at the end of the day you still recognize your face in the mirror (and love what you see).

Shermin was awesome! She does such great work, I am thrilled to have had her as my hair and makeup artist for my wedding. She even accommodated getting my mom in prior who booked last minute. Shermin is such a sweet and wonderful person! She did my wedding makeup and hairstyle and it came out sooo beautiful! My hair and makeup lasted the whole night and the pictures were phenomenal! She also had a team of amazing makeup artists and hair stylists for all my bridesmaids and they looked so beautiful as well. Everyone was so happy with their work. I am so happy that I hired Shermin for my wedding day because she was so easy to work with and there was always great communication between us! Shermin gave me a beautiful bridal updo for a bridal shoot. As you can see by the photo, she did a wonderful job, I felt like such a princess! She was also very friendly, professional, and easy to talk to. She made me feel very comfortable and and was gentle with my hair! I would highly recommend her!
