Auberge Des Gallant Restaurant et Spa

Great for a romantic getaway. Great, lost in the woods location, you can see deer and other woldife in the back yard, 20 meters away from the rooms.They have two outdoors spas, and also a massage and other things place.The restaurant has a simple selection, but the choices were a little fancy. Great wine selection.A little expensive overall though and not that much to do around, except maybe snow shoeing.There is a sort of a play room in the basement, although it hasn't been renovated in about 40 years, and the pool table, mississipy table and ping pong table are almost that old. But they work, so good enough....Like i said, good for a romantic getaway.

Customer service was very poor. When we went to check in, we received unnecessary comments and looks from the woman at the front desk about booking through Expedia vs their website when we asked about the all inclusive breakfast. If she would have worded it differently it would have been fine, but the rudeness and looking at us with disgust was not warranted. It left an obvious sour taste in our mouths. We dealt with her at checkout and she had the same attitude again. When working with the public, you would hope to come across somebody polite and knows how to properly interact with customers. The rooms were super clean, they had a nice layout. Every other staff member that we came across smiled at us. Beautiful location, will not return or recommend to anybody.

I live in the area, I want to book a staycation, use the pool etc... service in English, press 8. It then hangs up on you.As an English person living in Quebec, here to fix broken business processes, I feel so much discrimination. It feels so unjust as I am literally here because the skill-set isn't. I am here helping, but I feel so unwanted.

Went here for a wedding, the venue was beautiful! Excellent location for an outdoor wedding ceremony. Spent the night in one of the rooms, excellent bedding, excellent pillows, excellent service! Decent breakfast included. Wasn't the greatest though. Coffee was adequate. Otherwise still 5 stars. No photos since all my photos included people.

This place is amazing!!! The resort is beautiful, the food amazing and they have the most adorable dog Roscoe who lives there. Highly recommend staying there.

We decided to go on a short getaway weekend away from Toronto with my husband and found this place by chance. We thought it would be a great spot as it gave us an opportunity to visit Ottawa and Montreal. We didn't look too closely at the amenities before booking as we didn't think we would be spending much time on the property. This place beat our expectations, the staff was super friendly, very clean rooms and very well kept amenities. We were able to enjoy the outdoor hot tub which was very nice to do at night and felt super safe as it was gated off. Rooms were very clean. The onsite restaurant looked very nice and the staff were super professional. We got the chance to eat there for their weekend breakfast buffet and weekday sit down breakfast, both times were great food and great service. At night, we even saw deer on the property and were very excited to see how welcoming the property is. We definitely will be recommending this place to our family and friends.

Beautiful location in the woods with a private walking path. A nice place to escape to during any season! The fan in the bathroom didn’t work, but other than that, the room was great. Staff is friendly and helpful. We even saw some beautiful deer! Favourite part was the outdoor hot tub and the fire pits.

Very clean and pleasant. Pets are allowed which was a bonus for us to bring along our baby girl

October 2022This was a lovely getaway. We had a package that included breakfast, dinner and a neuro spa session.The Restaurant 1171 is gorgeous and feels like 5 star dining. Very elegant. The food and service was excellent. They have a wine cellar, and they have won many awards. The wine list is impressive.The neuro spa session was nothing I would pay extra for, but it was included in our package so we used it. Basically a massage chair, and you relax in the dark.We took advantage of the outdoor hot tub which we like when the weather is cold outside.There is a game room in the basement where you can play ping pong. Outdoor walking trails are groomed and I believe you can snowshoe there (snowshoes provided).The staff are friendly, and overall a great experience.We will return!
