Lots of fun for my 18m old son and I. The only downside is the pool is on the cooler side, you can see all the babies are cold! This is at deer path pool. Only had 5 lessons so far but will continue with them at another location and I like the teaching practices.

I attended swimming lessons with my infant, and am thrilled with the experience. The instructor was fantastic and created a safe and fun environment for my little one to learn vital water safety skills. She used a variety of engaging activities, such as songs and games, to keep the babies entertained while they learned. The instructor was always vigilant and made sure each baby was comfortable and happy. I highly recommend this class to any parent looking to teach their baby to be comfortable in the water.

Posting here because though we were impressed with the Water Babies teaching style, their business practices are bordering on unethical, and from a customer service perspective, they were excruciating to deal with and disrespectful of our time. After 8 lessons, hoping my daughter would warm up to the water babies style of swimming lessons, I had to remove her from the pool due to hyperventilation. At this time, we notified them we wouldn't be attending any more classes. As I know they have waiting lists for their lessons, I came to them with three suggestions:A) get a refund for the 5 remaining classes paid in full (their billing cycles are predatory, requiring you to cancel 5 weeks in advance to not end up overpaying, no matter the reason).B) receive a credit to use at a later time, even if it's a year from nowC) transfer our 5 lessons to another family in the neighbourhood that we know would have taken our spot.Water Babies responded by having their Aquatics Instructor call us and lecture us on exposure" and question our decision to remove our child from the lesson when we did (Why did it take 3 months of lessons and our cancelation for them to offer this form of "support?")I then waited 17 days to hear from Water Babies again

We didn’t mind the classes, but they are expensive, they rarely even go for the full half hour (more like 25 mins), and their cancellation policy is unreasonable. It’s not clearly stated in their materials. When I called to ask how far in advance we had to give notice of cancellation, they told me one month - they said, for example, to let them know by the end of Feb if you won’t be swimming after March. I sent an email to cancel on Feb. 28 (admittedly late at night), but was advised on March 1 that they billed me that for April and will not refund it. By email they then said I needed to give 5 weeks notice to cancel. This conflicts with what their own staff had told me over the phone, and is a massive amount of notice to require to cancel a swim class (particularly for parents of babies, whose schedules and needs are constantly changing). If we do classes in the future, I’ll be looking elsewhere.

Great instructors and well design classes! I was looking for swimming lessons in Toronto for my baby, I came across many options but I chose waterbabies because it was recommended by a friend. I have to say that almost 2 years later I'm beyond satisfied with my choice. Our daughter has made incredible progress, she loves water, looks forward to her class every single week and loves her teacher Camila who is not only a great coach but teaches a smart class and is very good with children, Camila is always attentive and has a great ability to comunicate with small children in a fun and honest way building confidence in the kids, even when they are having a tough day.Our classes with waterbabies have not only been a great bonding expirience for my daughter and I but through our class we have made friends that are now and will definetely continue to be live time friends for our family. Thank You Water Babies!

Had a great session with Water Babies this fall, being in the pool with my 22-mo son and our class. Each week progressed well through a bunch of different exercises and skills to help the kids feel more comfortable in the water and know how to be safe, like learning to grab onto walls if they fall in.

This review is for the classes held on 5800 River Grove. We had a very very bad experience with water babies. 12 kids in one class , some were in level 2. How can you hold a class of level 1 and 2 together?. In the first class, there was a training session of another group taking place on the other side of the pool and we couldn't hear our instructions. When we complained to the instructor that we couldn't hear her, she told us to follow the other kids. Really??? The instructor didn't even bother to come into the pool to teach and when we asked she said it was because of Covid protocols. You guys opened the pool following covid protocols, the parents are in the water and you are teaching kids to swim from outside the pool?. If the parents had to teach their kids why would we opt for a lesson from you guys? In the second class, our son got scared when we dipped him in the water and instead of the teacher helping to calm him down, advised us to give him a toy and keep him on the side of the pool. 15 minutes passed and she didn't bother to come to us.When we called your team over this issue, they had no satisfactory answer for us. They even screwed up our costume order and in both the classes, our son was just in the water-proof diaper. The admin girl had no clue what was going on.Very Very poor service. Not recommended to anyone at all.

They helped my kid enjoy swimming from very beginning. They allowed us to make up classes when we missed some for scheduling conflicts. During COVID lockdown we had left over classes from last season that were transferred to our new class automatically. Current COVID protocols are adequate and make us feel safe to return to the swimming classes.

They should rename to Water Monies. What an extremely poor service experience. It's more money focused and little care about the babies' experience - the fees are way too high for the size of the classes and the length. They charge you way ahead of time, sometimes mistakenly, so you need to pay attention to your credit card. I wish I never bothered with this school. We have 4 classes remaining which we have asked for a refund but seems will just money in their pocket - unconscionable organization.
