The Nail Shop - Lavish East Hills

I absolutely love going to Lavish for a pedi-mani. All of the staff are friendly, welcoming and do an excellent job!! I want to recommend Lone, as she has always done exactly what I’ve asked for and is very professional. Lone takes her time and is very precise, and has a wonderful sense of humour as well. All of the ladies are amazing and provide excellent customer service. A wonderful place to go to treat yourself.

Kim did mine and my mothers nails on Canada day! She did a wonderful job, super kind, very fast. Had a lovely experience because of her great customer service !

My nail technician: LynnFirst time going here. Staff were friendly and inviting however prices are extremely high. I was told I was getting bio gel (which is usually more expensive) and she used normal gel and said it was bio gel. I don’t know too much about nails but it seemed fishy to me.I asked her to clean up my cuticles and she proceeded to not do it. Nail art was not the greatest. Shaping could have been better.My nails costed about $95 with tip. FOR A NEW GEL SET.Personally I would not recommend this nail salon. Good customer service and friendly staff is one thing but actually having good nail technicians that go the extra mile is another.EDIT: I’m updating my review to 1/5 stars as my nails are starting to grow out. Gel is lifting in some spots and my thumbnail is splitting at the base probably due to UNCLEAN efile bits being used and IMPROPER NAIL APPLICATION.Unfortunately salons aren’t regulated in Alberta which means anyone can open up a salon and NOT be certified. Use Lavish nails services at your own risk.

TERRIBLE SERVICE.Please do not trust them with your nails.You’ll end up wasting your money.Within 2 weeks my nails started falling off.When I went to the salon to ask for the fix, she said she will charge $55 for it.And also, told me she don’t care about what review she gets on google.Staff here is very egotistical, arrogant and unprofessional.

Have been getting my nails done at Lavish for almost a year now. Pricing is decent. Quality is great. No lifting or broken nails between fills. Very friendly staff.

Tom and the new management team are PHENOMENAL! I didn't have a great experience one of the last times I came and instead of just disregarding how I felt, Tom and his amazing staff were willing to work with me to fix the mistakes made and now I am very happy with what I have, I will definitely be coming back in the future for more beautiful sets of nails! Thank you again :)

this business doesn’t even deserve one star. very poor customer service, witnessed 2 of the nail techs being racist and charged me too much. if you want good nails and a relaxing/peaceful experience i DO NOT recommend this place.

I was glad that they were able to squeeze me in. Loved my shellac manicure. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to get a pedicure. However since they were busy....my pedicure felt like just a polish change but the cost of a pedicure. I was disappointed with that!

I am hoping the owner will review this post. I purchased a gift certificate for my stepdaughter for Christmas, and she booked pedicure appointments for herself and for me last weekend. Unfortunately she misplaced the gift certificate and was unable to find it, but I brought my credit card statement showing the purchase. We had very nice pedicures, the ladies who did them were great and very friendly, but when we asked the lady who took our payment whether they could honour the gift certificate, she said no and they could only honour it if we could find the actual little piece of paper. I could prove that I purchased the gift certificate with my credit card statement, but apparently that is not proof enough. The lady who took our payments said she would check with the owner, but we have not heard anything. I am hoping that the owner will receive my message through this review. If you are willing to honour the gift certificate you will have two happy customers who will be back because the pedicures were very good, but if you choose not to honour the gift certificate, which is certainly your right, please consider that you are basically telling us that we are trying to cheat the salon out of two pedicures, and you will loose two customers forever. It would be much appreciated if you could honour the gift certificate, and I hope to hear back from you.

I went in for an afternoon treat to relax. I booked a pedicure, manicure, and a deep tissue massage. I was disappointed to learn that the person doing my nails had no idea what package I had ordered through their online forum. My nails ended up being rushed, and the shellac on my toes is uneven and spotted. For my nails, she realized she was running late and told me I couldn't pick a colour because it would take too long to dry, and I needed to go be ready for the massage. We did a clear coat, which was sloppy, and cleaning of my nails was rushed and not completed. Now I was excited for the massage, and it started off well but quickly it turned into the therapist trying to sell me into a pyramid scheme and would not stop talking about how I could make passive income. It even went so far that she asked me how much money I made yearly. It was so extremely unprofessional and instead of a relaxing afternoon, it was just a never ending question into why I don't want to make passive income. Even if my nails were done properly, not that they were, after that experience, I would never support this company again. I came for a service that I paid a decent price for only to be pitched about some pyramid scheme, with nowhere to go for my hour long massage. This employee should not be allowed to sell her own business " while on another companies time. Absolutely unprofessional"
