If you are going camping for the first time, this is not a bad place to start. All amenities are available, including laundry and a place to wash your dishes. The lady at the office is very nice. You can purchase ice and other snacks from there, but a 2 min drive to The front" store and you can get it cheaper. There are a few farm animals walking around

This place is the most depressing and horrible campground you can imagine. We got there because nothing else was available. The lady in charge, told us to go and set up and then pay. When we saw how small the campground is and how it’s located behind people’s houses we decided that we would only stay is it was super cheap. The spot did not worth more than 10 dollars a night. My partner went to ask how much it would cost for the night. Two small tents for 4 people and the lady told her 96 dollars. We camp a lot and I have never heard that rate in my life. This place looks like someone’s broken backyard with no view. When she told us we decided to not unpack and put the stuff back in the car. Within 5 min of packing and putting this away the woman cake to the site and said if we are not staying we have to leave. We politely told her that we are just leaving. She stared talking that the site is not free and we need to leave now. We were like yes we are literally putting our bags in the car. She kept repeating her sentence and started getting aggressive, hostile and very rude. It was scary. She was like the psycho characters from very bad movies. No wonder on the busiest summer day only 10% of the camp was booked. The owner is a very rude and money hungry person. I don’t exaggerate when I say she is psycho and this place is creepy as you can imagine your own worst nightmares. Honestly, I think it should be illegal to be in operation. Stay away even if it means sleeping in your car on the highway. I think the positive reviews are from family and friends I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a full sketchy operation. Stay away please.

This was a very friendly RV campground. My kids loved the ducks and the chickens and the tire swing. We all loved hearing the frogs at night. The service was great. We were a little disappointed by the Harrison village fire ban but we rented a propane fire ring for less than I expected and were very happy about that.I would definitely camp here again.

We came here and easily found a walk in campsite. This campground is very interesting. It's on the main road a few minutes away from Harrison and the water. There is a fence wrapped around the property which hosts RV and tent sites. It helped block out some sound from the main road. What I found interesting is that part of the campgrounds seemed like a construction site. There are antique bicycles around the lot. The family who run the campground live above the office in the house. The woman was very kind and welcoming who checked us in at the office. I really like how clean and well maintained the washrooms were. It was a little pricey considering we only had a tent. Showers are free and included in your stay. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and I recommend.

We arrived late at night...dark. Ha ha....it was interesting pulling in as it is tight. Only have a 19 ft trailer but still was interesting. We made it in perfect enough. The lady at the desk is a gem - very polite. At first, I had second thoughts because of its tightness but I realized I enjoyed being here because of the trees - lots of trees and shade.I watched a 30+ft fifth wheel come in....so if you know how to drive, you will figure it out. Just don't do it in the dark - ha ha.Would I come again - sure would. Depends if my wife wants to wade in a swimming pool in the sun or not (cause there isnt one here)...but yeah. I'd come back!I can see some complaining by people but when on a get-away trip, why stress out? Enjoy what you can and make the best of your time. It's the experience after all and you decide whether to let things bother you or just enjoy it all.

The owners/staff are amazing, we loved this place. We had concert tickets in Vancouver and no hotels nearby available. The drive was short, the staff let us come in late and they were very accommodating. We will definitely be coming back! Bad reviews do not reflect this place whatsoever.

We come here at least once a year and it’s a little slice of heaven. With The old bicycles, the tire swing, the mountain face in the back of the park, to all the trees! As Harrison hot springs is getting built up, this place still feels like you are in the nature. So close to the lake, it’s great! Lots of playgrounds nearby as well. Love taking pictures of my kids around the campground as you can see haha . Can’t wait to come back!

I would not come back again. The camp site is just too close and tight. The price is not cheap at all. The trees, picnic table etc are not well maintained. I spoke to a grey hair lady who is supposed to be the owner for a very noisy neighbor. She said “they stay one night only”. It turned out to be a joke.Re: credit card: I left an voice message with the full and correct info. When I learned it didn’t get through, I presented the credit card right way. Thought this is all that I can do. Don’t understand why this relates to the review.Re: noisiness: I spoke to them the next morning which was not too hard. I’m not saying for all but many families go camping for a quiet and cozy environment. Also during Covid, many parks have maximum occupants in place to help prevent the spread. All the time and words I spent here is hopefully to get any positive feedback and future improvements. The location is very good and convenient to the Harrison lake.

Beautiful camp ground but over priced. Cost $60/night for 2 adults to camp with one vehicle. 2 km walk from the lake, 5*km walk to the hot springs, backs on to the river. Washrooms were clean, showers were warm (not hot) and free.Hard to navigate large trailers but with trees between camp sites that’s understandable. Loved this place only problem was the price.
