The building I rent at operates these machines and honestly I have nothing really that bad to say. 2 machines were down, I phoned the service centre and they had a technician out here within 36 hours. The technician seemed like a solid nice guy and had the machines going within an hour. Locations vary as I'm seeing with other reviews but I've have had no problems where I'm at. .25c extra on the card? That's inflation, accept it.

Absolute rip off! First they provided smaller machines, then they increased costs for a wash and now they’ve added an ‘accces fee’ to reload my card. I am now driving to a laundromat because it’s cheaper than doing laundry at home!

Currently have a wet and molding load of laundry. Why? The Machine to refill the laundry card is broken and I can not add anymore value" to the card that I have to pay a quarter to refill customer service closed. So now I have my clothing soaking wet in a basket. These guys never service or check on their machines seriously"

Their idea of 'cleaning' a machine is running a load just with water and nothing else. YET they ignore things like this - even during the pandemic you think they would have wanted to actually clean the machines but no. If you are a management company that actually cares about your tenants - do not go through this company. I have spent time and money cleaning the machines I use myself - but not touching this. And through it all - they just raised their prices again. I will be calling them one last time, next call will be the health department

I called their customer service centre as suddenly there is a 0.25 fee to reload my laundry card. The person I had on the phone was rude, gave me attitude. I wanted to know why there is this fee suddenly and why there was no notice this was being charged. Was I rude? No. I went into this call curious about this charge. She tells its because fees are going up, so when I repeat back the gist of what I heard I get that's not what I said...is there anything else I can help you with". So not only did I get attitude to my question

Coinamatic is an utter rip off. It costs $10 just to get a card, and then an extra $10 for your minimum balance. $20 total, for only one full load of laundry. Here's why.In my building in Edmonton, the washer costs $3 and the dryer $2.50. This means a total load is $5.50. While a complete wash and dry load used to be $5, with coinamatics base charge of 10, you can only get one full load of laundry on $10 as the remaining $4.50 will only grant you one wash. I'm not sure what coinamatics deal to rental properties are, but whoever has them installed is doing their rental clients a huge disservice.Maybe wash your own clothes now and get rid of the cumbersome, costly, embarrassing machines that serve you next to nothing.

I have never seen such a poor service before. The dryer complaint is on the floor where I live for the last 5 years. So far they haven't been able to fix it. All they know is to increase the charge.

We loaded money onto our card from the app and it charged us and didn't load the money. We called a dozen times over 2 weeks and they refused to let me speak to management. Eventually we got a code that wouldn't load for the life of me. We called the BBB and all the sudden the code loaded onto a card just fine. My suggestion is if you can avoid using coinamatic do so.
