The gentleman at this shop has made several armchair covers for my leather couch and chair over the years. He always does a spot on job at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Stoney Creek Sewing Centre
I'm beyond thrilled with the Stoney Creek Sewing Center. I've taken my sewing machine for servicing at this location for years. Recently I received my mother in laws serger but didn't know how to use it. The owner patiently taught me how to use, thread it, tips etc They both work long hours to get alterations, repairs etc completed for their customers. They have sewing supplies, needles, thread, sewing machines for purchase. I'm so grateful we have them in our neighborhood. If you are looking for a sewing business to support, this is the one. I promise you will be impressed!!

Lovely small business owners who would do anything to make customers happy. For the person who reported that his 80 year old mother was ripped off, she returned her machine and then had them repair her old machine at the same price. When reviewing it’s usually a good idea to tell truth. The rest of the reviews tell the truth about what an amazing business this is.

WARRING WARRING DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE!!!I am writing this on behalf of my 80 year old mother. She purchased a used sewing machine, but because of her loss of dexterity she was unable to use it. She returned it after about 2 weeks and was not given a refund of any kind. She paid $160.00.I talked to the owner and he said that was his policy. I also found out that he had already resold the machine a day after my mother returned it. So he go paid twice for it. WOW!So he makes his money by ripping off little old ladies!!!What a sad man he is!Mike GStoney Creek

After my local sewing store near Newmarket could not / would not service my antique treadle 1910 Husqvarna CB, my mom recommended Stoney Creek Sewing Centre. I made the drive and I am so happy I did! Jack gave the machine a tune up and got it running again (it was missing 2 small parts which cost a grand total of $15 to replace). He estimated approximately 2 weeks turn around time, but it was ready in 5 days! I could not be more pleased. She's ready to go for another century! Thanks again Jack - I know you work on these old machines because you love them, not because a tune up is particularly profitable for you ☺️

Stoney Creek Sewing Centre
Company was given the job of repairing garden chairs. 3 weeks later they called (we were out of country) saying they could not fulfill the job completion and pickup the chairs or they will dispose of. All new materials were delivered to effect the repair. Upon return We have been informed the chairs have since been thrown away. Unbelievable ! I would not recommend this company to anyone and question the business ethics of the ownership. Poor is an understatement.

This is the place to go if your looking for friendly, helpful and quality work. I have dealt with one other company over the years for my old 1970 White sewing machine and had it back in the store twice as the work wasn't done properly. Since having it fixed by Jack of Stoney Creek Sewing Center I have had no problems. I really enjoy dealing with the owner and I would recommend this business.
