Definitely one of the better part stores and like its counterpart on the West Side of Saint John there is friendly and reasonable staff. They actually have knowledgeable staff compared to other parts stores.So far so good and time will tell as I go there more often.

Good prices and excellent staff

So I found myself on the side of the road in Pennfield with a cube truck requiring new wheel studs. The incidents leading up to the incident were no fault of CarQuest. After calling everyone from St. Stephen to Saint John, these guys were the only ones who had studs. Great. I asked for 8 of them and to pay over the phone by credit card so I could have them picked up and brought to me. I run a company, and gave the company name and contact info to add some validity to the transaction. I normally deal with their Moncton office. They refused to take a credit card for the purchase over the phone, instead of insisting I appear in person with the card. Even after I explained my situation they insisted. After the trip there and back wasting precious daylight, the delay of 2 hours made the repair on the side of the road take place in the dark in a seriously unsafe condition. (Due to the load and other factors the truck could not be easily or cheaply moved) - This is unacceptable. Are they really worried about a credit card fraud ring specializing in stealing wheel studs?For the sake of the safety of their $60 transaction, I will remember the interaction when I but parts for our aging fleet of trucks (2x dodge halftons, 2x chev blazers and 3 halftons, cube truck, bucket truck and various heavy equipment).

everyone standing around stated that the parts were put aside for us so we knew it would be a fast in and out trip yet when we got here they were not doing a single thing and they did not have the parts aside and had to go finding them

Searched online and called all around the city for dodge caravan serpentine belt , pulleys, tensioner…. They had all in stock and the price was the absolute best in town! Steve was a great representative of your company and was great to deal with!

Good place as long as you talk to the right cashier the older men ... past 40 that work the counter in there are only out to make more of a commission for themselves rather then good customer service; the young guys in there aren't as knowledgeable but are much much better at the job.

VERY LAZY STAFF, i was looking for a wheel lug or stud for my car, the guy checked from the computer its not available, however i have brought with me the replacement sample option which is the same size as the one im looking for. the guy told me that he cant look for the same one because they have a lot of lugs on stock and he cant do the searching for me. i was about to tell him that i bought the sample from car quest as well, he didnt even bother to look at it so we go. thats the problem with large stores, staff are lazy but in local stores, they would really like to help.
