Bought an amp from this store that was advertised as fully serviced. The amp does not work and the owner refuses to refund me or work towards some sort of compensation for the faulty product!Extremely poor business practice. Do not do business here!

Spent $2000 on a Conrad Johnson pre amp this store was selling on Canuck Audio Mart advertised as recapped and fully serviced. The amp showed up and has nothing but problems. It constantly muting itself and the speaker on my cell phone sounds better than it on any of my systems. I have taken it to multiple shops who looked at it as well as emailed Conrad Johnson repair shops who all said the recap is bad questioned the techs work. I have been quoted more than what I paid for the unit to have it repaired but most shops will not touch it now. All I received back was $50 after spending $200 on tubes because their tech was incapable of reading the owners manual and installing the correct ones (I hope putting the correct tubes in would fix some of the issues and it didn't). All I got back before they quit replying to my emails asking to return it was along the lines sorry you not happy with it too bad it didn't work out". How this shop is still allowed to be a dealer on Canuck I have no idea. Several people have reached out to me and also told me they have been blatantly ripped off by HifiJoe Audio. I hope everyone can see this review so they don't waste their hard earned money like I did.Just an update on the pre amp. The mono/stereo knob is piled up and the right channel was not working causing the left channel to play out of both outputs which is why the amp sounded so bad. I was able to have a real shop repair the unit. The shop that repaired it could not believe I was sold this unit as a "serviced

Well known scammer who sells equipment that doesn’t work to customers. Does not offer refunds. Be cautious of this business!

Complete rip-off artist. Sells faulty equipment and refuses to do right by his customer. Not sure how he has any positive reviews, stay far away.
