Pioneer Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling

This was my first time using Pioneer. Technician arrived exactly on time, was knowledgeable and polite, and fixed my problem quickly. I was very pleased with all aspects of their service.

This was great experience. I sent out multiple requests for this service and Pioneer was the only company to immediately respond. Booked the appt in the next few days, came on time, did the work very quickly and efficiently and were very professional and personable. I would recommend Pioneer for any work.

Pioneer came to quote us for our a new heat pump Install in March, Chris was courteous and puntual. He gave really good advise and clear and concise options for our needs. His team arrived on time the following week and got everything done when they said they would. Before they started work Maygan in the office had advised they might not be able to get all of the work done before the Friday, in which case the work would carry over to the following Monday so there were no surprises when this happened. Stephen their installer was amazing, very easy to get along with, courteous, Informative and very professional, the work was finished on time. As part of the install we needed to upgrade our hydro service to 200amp. The electrician supplied by pioneer was also very good, he explained the limits of our current service and panel and worked hard to try and make the current service work but we couldn’t quite manage it. One thing people considering a new heat pump Install should do is account for those additional costs in their budget. We had an allowance for this so it was ok, for some people the additional costs could be a bit of a shock so be sure to speak to your contractor.Stephen came back two days after the install was complete to go over the operation of the equipment and service requirements, again on time and very helpful.All in all I’ll give pioneer and five star review and will be calling then for anything plumbing related in the future, highly recommended.

Called the day before a heatwave hoping to find someone to fix my AC after contacting a dozen other companies, and to my relief they were able to get a technician out within a couple hours. I paid the price for the quick service, but it was ultimately worth it. Technician was friendly, communicative, and of course got the AC working!

Service technician had to go and get regular size and common filters. He charged me an extra half an hour for his trip to get the filters and charged me for the time. The company understood my concern and agreed to remove the charge. It was an honourable gesture from the company that complemented a service which I was quite satisfied with.

I've had pioneer come to help us twice, with two completely different issues. Both times they have been professional, knowledgeable, on time, and very polite and pleasant. They've explained the problem, and what I can do to avoid it in the future or if it's possible to fix it myself. I had a furnace problem and the tech actually looked up my furnace and found that the broken part was still covered by the warranty even though the furnace is over 10 years old. His diligence will have saved me hundreds. It's unlikely I would have checked because of the age of the furnace. I'll definitely continue to use pioneer in the future.

The technician, Dylan, arrived on time and was very courteous. He asked relevant questions to help understand how things were working. Although another company had advised us to replace the air conditioner’s compressor unit, Dylan’s troubleshooting determined there was only a small leak which was easily plugged and repaired. The a/c unit is now back working as it was intended. Great service which I highly recommend.

My senior father contacted Pioneer when his heating system stopped working in the middle of winter. Chris showed up the same day to see what Pioneer could do. A new heating system was installed the next day! The technicians on site were on time, clean, and friendly. The work was explained clearly. Everyone we dealt with was professional and efficient, the new units look great and the cost was reasonable. Thank you so much Pioneer!
