Kyla did our maternity shoot for us. My partner and I were a bit nervous and felt awkward on the way to meet with Kyla, but as soon as we got there her bubbly and upbeat attitude immediately put us at ease. Our shoot with Kyla was by far one of the most wonderful and memorable days of my pregnancy. Her professionalism and talent for capturing beauty in things that seem ordinary is unmatched.We have two large prints from our shoot in our home so we can see them everyday.Thank you Kyla for making me feel and look beautiful when I hadn’t in such a long time. Amazing experience!Kyla was a pleasure to work, she took on the creative role and happily directed us with what shots and angles would work best, which is exactly what I was looking for in a photographer!Kyla was a huge asset to have on our wedding day, and because of that she was an integral part of our special day.Editing time was much faster than I could have expected, we barely had to wait 48 hours before she gave us a ‘sneak peak’ on a beautiful layout, and barely any time after that before we had our final gallery.You will not be disappointed working with Kyla, she makes you feel comfortable and like family when working with her!

Kyla did our wedding photos and I’m someone who is very picky/thoughtful on how my pictures look and she did NOT disappoint!!! Every single moment was captured, happy tears were shed and all those photos mean so much to my husband and I, and those photos we will cherish forever! She is so thorough and kind and really knows poses and angles as well as lightening and is great at seeing a vision of exactly what you want! Last May, we celebrated the graduation of our son from The Royal Military College of Canada, Kingston, ON.Kyla was amazing! They say that a photo is worth a thousand words, but that's not nearly enough to describe how happy we are that we chose Kyla to not only capture our wedding day back in 2017, but also to capture family photos as we welcomed our children in the years that followed.Kyla is so warm, kind, caring, and personable, and her work ethic is amazing. She was able to efficiently and respectfully manage all of the hectic energy that naturally surrounds a wedding day and make sure that her job was done well, and what a big job that was! Our parents have mobility limitations, and Kyla was able to create beautiful family portraits in Meagan's parent's living room in order to accommodate. Furthermore, because our wedding day was incredibly cold (-20C!), she managed to find a beautiful indoor space near our venue for the two of us to have beautiful photos and not freeze before the ceremony. Kyla worked nonstop the entire day, not to mention the hours she put into planning the proceedings beforehand and the many hours of careful editing she did afterwards. She was reliable and went above and beyond our expectations from the first email we sent her to the day we got our beautiful album delivered. Finally, she has a beautiful talent, and her photos speak for themselves; candid shots captured so many precious moments and she directed posed photos perfectly.When we had our children we knew we wanted her to capture some precious portraits for us. It was an no-brainer! Our son was only 2 months old at his session, and she effortlessly captured his sleepy newborn snuggles while keeping him comfortable. A few years later we met Kyla at a park with our 3 year old son and 1 year old daughter. It was evening, they were tired and hungry, and it rained. Still, Kyla somehow managed to capture a beautiful collage of a happy, smiling family.Not only do we have beautiful photos of our family growing, but we have beautiful memories of taking those photos as well. Kyla was great! She had some great ideas and suggestions. It was a big group and she made us all relaxed and comfortable. The result is some really great family photos!
