Horizon's Sackville Memorial Hospital

The place is joke. From the beginning they saying you should visit walk-in clinic and not to come there and after you advise that you were sent by the clinic, they just rolling eyes on that and advising that most likely there won't be any doctor to meet you. After 4 hours when you asking about doctor, they advising that there's no doctors. So why is this place exists without any doctors to treat you? They saying that I should talking to government about it and not to them. So, I can agree with the conclusion that this place is useless just like this liberal government!

They need to have a doctor designated to outpatients. I don't see why the ER doctor is trying to take care of those in outpatients. Patient should not have to wait the whole day just to receive treatment. This needs to be acknowledged and fixed. This is brutal.

Fast service but the triage nurse shouldn’t be trying to diagnose everything with Covid my daughter was there and didn’t get no test cause she didn’t want to and I don’t blame her… turned out she had a bladder infection nothing to do with Covid… if the triage nurse is a sheep it ain’t our problem take her out of there she’s not making the call when it comes to diagnostics it’s the doctors call…

I have been in emergency rooms as a patient in several different hospitals. I was amazed at the speed and quality of Dr. Bruno DontKnowLastName work. We were the first patients in line at 8 o'clock. There were 10 people behind us. within 2 hours he alone was able to see all those people. This doctor must be awarded and get a raise. I wish him all the best and you to be a patient of Dr. Bruno like doctors.

Had a surgery there yesterday and everything went great. The admissions staff was ready to roll" at 6:50am.Dr A and Dr O and their support staff took great care of me. I was extremely nervous and they did everything they could to make me comfortable.Thanks team"

Had to wait around 5 hours in the ER to be seen - staff weren't updating on the situation so patients just had to hope that they were going to be seen. The triage nurse was rude and dismissive and lied about when the ER was closing so that patients would leave earlier and discouraged patients from staying and waiting. When I was seen, the rest of the staff was kind and attentive and proceeded with appropriate tests. Dr. Kelly was nice. The COVID screener was very nice as well.

I was the first patient here at 7:30am and it took the doctor 8 hours to see me… I called yesterday and they assured me that if I came in early I would see a doctor sooner. So much for sooner. 8 hours with a room full of patience and nobody was seen by the doctor.

My 21 year old daughter has a life long issue with her throat, as a Mt Allison student she went to Outpatients twice and both times the nurse was extremely dismissive. Today the triage nurse asked her about her symptoms IN FRONT OF EVERYONE IN THE WAITING ROOM (the only part she did in private room was take her BP) then told her in front of others that she just has covid and she has seen worse lumps in throats and asked why she came (it has hurt her to swallow for five days, she sent photo my sister who is a nurse and said it should be treated asap). When my daughter said she came because 811 told her too, and she doesn't have a doctor- triage nurse said ya

I have multiple bad experiences, most most recent I was unable to breath and have a persistent fever for 4 days (during covid mind you) I arrived 5pm they told me the ER was closed. I told them I couldn't breathe. They interrupted me and apologized and said that unless I had an appointment to leave. I begun to walk back home, were I pasted out on the side walk, a police officer saw me and I was unable to go to monton due to no way of being able to return home.
