Awful experience at this branch. Melissa who currently manages at the lakeshore BMO made a mistake when transferring money from an RRSP account. My fiancé went back twice, waited an hour in line only to be told they would have to put in a request and that they would call her back. After several calls from us and no response we finally found time to go in together to get this rectified almost two months since the beginning of the process later. The clerk looked at the account and go figure the request was never put in. After trying to explain the mistake and what needs to be done to fix it the clerk tried to explain to melissa what we needed. She couldn’t even come out of her office which we see her sitting in to help. I truly feel bad for the employees there, the management has some of the worst customer service I’ve ever seen and zero support for staff. So disappointing. Oh did I mention we will still be waiting a minimum 7 days before we know if this will be fixed or not

Recently have been going to this branch to deposit pay cheques into my account, having no issues - when the bank teller working asked me if I had online banking, which I said yes, and he told me I can deposit it through that rather then coming in. I asked if a portion would be put on hold because that’s what they typically do, he then tells me it shouldn’t and goes to the back and comes back with this little booklet and reads to me that I can deposit up whatever amount I could and have no amount on hold. I thought that was great so I wouldn’t have to waste my time waiting in line. I had deposited my cheque last Thursday and only $300 was available and the rest on hold until the 18th. It is absurd that they are giving wrong information to their customers - I had payments due to which now I have late fees on them because of this. I have no money to use and in times like now it is very unfortunate for this to be happening. Also have been trying to call the branch and getting no answer, and even leaving a voicemail and receiving no call back.

As I wait in line 7 customers deep all of us respecting COVID protocols (there is a sign btw at the entrance of the bank stating capacity is 7) an 8 customer comes in blows by everyone in line and speaks to an Ariana that had come out of her office to assist another customer. This person not only gets all her questions asked but then asks if she can get in the front of the line. Ariana says yes in front of all of us who are patiently waiting. This person was picking up a visa card nothing more important than any of us and she didn't have an appointment. Not only did Arianna accommodate but then sunny is happy to help her. there was a senior waiting in line... seriously? If you are going to make us stand in line abide by capacity rules you better make sure your employees are too. I speak up and literally nothing done and no care shared. They really didn't care, clearly there is a reason why this branch gets the reviews it does. BTW after Ariana helped that barging customer she went back and his in her office. Leaving the rest of us including that senior to continue to wait in line

I had a phone conversation with a BMO agent yesterday and he asked me if his service was to my satisfaction. Although the issue wasn't resolved and I was quite aware that he was inexperienced with a particular option BMO provides, he was an OK guy. His suggestion with my issue was to follow through with my local BMO branch on Lakeshore Road in Kelowna. At that point I chuckled and informed him how typically poor the service is, not only at that branch, but every BMO bank in Kelowna. Inexperienced staff, long line ups with disgruntled customers, generally poor customer service and wait times up to thirty-five or forty minutes - most times of the day - for even the simplest of transactions. He suggested I contact someone in management and discuss my concerns with them. Why?

I do the banking for our office and am so tired of waiting in line for 1/2 hour or more just to make a deposit that cannot be done through ATM. I realize the staff are being trained but there should always be a senior teller on the line as well. Staff in offices seem absolutely oblivious to long lineups and god forbid they try to help out. I have never been in a bank that has worse service than this one, and it is too bad as it used to be a pleasant bank to go to.... Also, I have read the bad reviews given to this branch and there is a standard reply given to each complaint that the bank says this is not the way they want their clients to feel and they are sorry for inconvenience......although don't seem to do anything about it, EVER. Smarten up BMO Mission Park Branch.....it must be embarrassing for you to read these reviews, if you ever do. The good reviews are VERY rare. DO BETTER.

Jill and Elliott went above and beyond for me! This isn't my usual branch, and a trip to the bank isn't typically a good time haha, but they were so warm and welcoming. Super grateful for their exceptional customer service and support. Will definitely be going back to this location for future use!

I was profiled and refused service yesterday by the absolute worst Branch Manager. Will be canceling my account and contacting the local Media. This is the second time she has profiled me and given me below par service based on HER entitled opinion. Use any other Bank and/or any other location. She is a biased, bigoted, rude and entitled person. BMO would have gained a local business as a client but instead her profiling me has caused them to loose clients. Do NOT go here. Do NOT give this person any kind of control over your finances. Unprofessional and unfit to be in any position of authority.Do Better

Lakeshore BMO is constantly backed up. Their tellers are poorly trained & extremely slow. We waste more than 2hrs per week in line to be told we should be using online banking that still doesn’t exist. Extremely frustrating for the 19 people in line with only 2 tellers on at 0930 after a long weekend.
