Bel Air Take-Out

This place is awesome and I try to visit it whenever I go to New Brunswick. The portions are generous and everything is so delicious. The staff are friendly and amenable to leaving out the fries if you don't want them. Leaves more room for seafood :) The coleslaw it's a creamy one and goes so well with everything.

Hands down ones of the best places for seafood in the atlantic provinces and if you eat there you will not walk away hungry , prices are great for the size of the dinner portions ! Workers are really nice and the wait time for the food is not long at all ! Eating in is relaxing and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing with lots of space ! So you you enjoy fresh seafood for a good price this is a must stop in !

The food was great, but the place is painfully expensive. You go and pick up your order (it's not served to you) and it's served on paper plates with cheap plastic utensils. I don't see how you can pay 20+ dollars on a single plate of food and have the same dinning expirence as a McDonald's. Where the heck is all the money that they are making going?! Especially with food prices like that! but the food there is pretty great. The actual food quality is fantastic.

I have been to Bel Air a few times with friends in the past month as I found out they are open all winter. All of us had fried clams and in my opinion, they are simply one of the best in the area. The clams were perfect- warm and crisp. They tend to give very big orders at Bel Air and I usually order a ½ clam or a small clam with fries. A large clam is big enough for 2 adults. This is a self serve restaurant and there are plenty of tables in the restaurant. The price for a small order of clams/fries is about $ 20.00.Essentially, I would highly recommend Bel Air for their seafood and clams in particular. The restaurant is located about ½ from Moncton.

Very tasty. Huge portions; however, a bit over priced. People don’t need to have a mountain of clams and fries. We’re not all 300lbs. I’d suggest dropping the prices a tad and serve a “normal” large portion. Who enjoys paying high prices and then leaving half the food on the plate? Anyway... love this place and will return.

Food quality is canteen level, it's good but nothing exceptional. They are known for their large fried seafood portion.

We were told if we wanted great clams & chips to go to this restaurant. So we did this vacation, on our way home. We weren't disappointed! The kids and parents ordered a seafood platter & an order of fresh whole clams and it was nearly a foot high on the platter. We are believers now, Bel Air all the way!

I had heard much about this place from family in the area. The seafood platter I ordered was a good size, as was the fish and chips order. I do have to say that I didn’t feel the meal lived up to the hype. The texture of the fish, clams, and scallops was good. None of the food arrived hot, and the flavour was not exceptional at all. To top it off the fries we had ordered were no different than a bag of frozen store bought fries. For the price I expected better. Service was good.

Food was good but the portions are smaller. They are using a hollowed out plate . . For me, my daughter and my wife we paid $80. Complete rip off for the portion size. I do not recommend anymore.. If they get rid of those plates and up the portions back to what they used to be ill go back. Shame.

I heard a lot about this place and was very excited to go. Maybe it was the anticipation of fried clams, but they came a little undercooked and the dusting used wasn't seasoned at all. I will give it another try because the place seemed very nice and popular and I loved the fries. For the prices, I hope the next time proves better.
