Atomic Age

I've been coming here for a couple years now. Really small shop with incredibly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I've never had a bad experience here. I'm sure for comic collectors, the selection is terrible due to the size but for a casual reader like myself, it's perfect. If you live in the area, its 100% worth checking Atomic Age out. I typically only buy the soft cover and hard cover comics and they are priced the way they should be, advertised on the back. They even have a 50% bookshelf with plenty of great finds as well!

Went to store during business hours and door was locked. Called on 2 different days and it goes to answering machine. Message on their Facebook page and get no response after a week. No going to bother checking them out anymore.

A tiny little hole-in-the-wall shop filled with a great selection of comics and knick-knacks. The staff are friendly and helpful when asked about a specific item.

Atomic Age has been a fixture in Greektown over two decades or more. Gene, the owner, is always friendly, helpful (if need pre-orders/subscriptions) and stocks older graphic novels, a nice back issue bins, recent comic books and lots of toys/action figures. There is a pet grooming service in the basement, but throughout the years not once have I noticed pet smell/odors or loose pet hairs. This place is well-kept and tidy, although may be space confined. Owners super sweet. He ordered in a certain comic for me years ago. I haven’t even in since but wanted to leave a good review because my overall experience there was 10/10

Came here for Free Comic Book day and found it to be a really charming establishment! They had a lot of different issues of different series and at great prices too! I am a self-proclaimed comic aficionado, but I am not a veteran at the business of buying or selling them, but I think the prices are good.It's a very small store, very cramped, but filled to the brim with different merchandise, comics, comic issues, manga and much more. It also gets very hot and stuffy if the doors aren't opened. Unfortunately due to the Metrolinx expansion, the store will be closing permanently after serving the community for so many years. It's sad to hear that it will not be relocating, so be sure to support the business by coming in when you can!

I've had great luck finding older graphic novels in bunches there twice over the years.

My favourite comic book shop in Toronto. Really great to have this store near the Danforth. Gene and his staff have always been helpful and friendly to me. Comics selection is great, as well as the toys. Highly recommended

Great little comic shop. They had a decent selection of new runs and trades as well as various cards, figures, and other collectables. I have not had a chance to check out their back issues so opinion on that yet. There is a lot packed in to a modest size shop here. Staff was very friendly and helpful both times I have been.

Great little comic shop. Nice and cozy and the owner is a real super dude. I wish I had the money to buy all the toys I wanted. It's a shame that they will be closing their doors soon, but they do have some really really good deals there.
